  1. Got a good assist too. As much as I'd welcome Hill, I'd say it's very unlikely.
  2. We need some pace to make us more effective, we have it to an extent with ACD but when he plays we become more frail defensively. I’m not a huge Hedges fan but he does offer more protection. You could of course argue that’s not his primary job. There's a player in Sweden that fits the bill, goes by the name of Herman Johansson. Bags of pace with an eye for goal. Probably get him for around 1m, which of course they won’t stump up.
  3. Leeds have a terrific home record, partly because refs are constantly influenced by the fans, the amount of time they whinged and moaned today was embarrassing. Then they had the cheek to sing he's not fit to referee, after giving them practically every decision all game 🙄
  4. Take a bow Dom Hyam and Danny Batth, both absolutely superb today. For the most part Beck and Brittain too aside from a few wobbles. Gueye as erratic as he is, you can't deny him another assist! I'd have to watch it back but sure he properly hindered ACD for the attack which lead to the penalty though? Tronstad brilliant again and I also feel Baker is growing into this team now, he also looked to pick up a bit of the shithousery we're missing from Trav. Was feeling a little deflated after their goal, but the equaliser may just give us that shot in the arm for Saturday!
  5. In fairness it was pretty similar at Cardiff when we scored 3 rather unexpectedly. Granted the opposition today is a lot better! You never know though, Weimann may have another great game.
  6. Heard Cantwell didn't train because of a slight knock rather than illness.
  7. 2 shocking finishes by Isak with his version of Hedges at PNE then Tonali not long after, should be at least 4 nil
  8. I have United season ticket holders that work for me, they're that fed up they miss a lot of games recently. However, you're only 'allowed' to miss a certain number of games a season or they take the ticket off you and allocate to someone on the waiting list. As a result they have people scanning their ticket and not even going in they just go round town boozing. They don't want to lose their tickets for good in case there's a turn in fortunes. As disappointing as it can be seeing Ewood half empty we sure have it easy in terms of ticket availability.
  9. Thursday to Saturday looked OK last time I checked, just cold
  10. End block of the riverside is on sale now, well the top portion of it, although I haven't seen the club advertising this fact
  11. Key difference being we had a clinical finisher then to win it for us.....this season we don't. Would any of the current attackers slot that chance away with a first touch finish like Szmodics did? You never know, someone might step up and win it for us, it'll be tougher than the home game though by some distance. Since their first couple of games in August, only the unwashed lot up the road have managed to lay a glove on them at Elland Road.
  12. Awful game at the riverside. We really have nothing to fear against then twats. Obviously their defensive record is decent like but only takes a moment of class.
  13. What a goal it was too. He must have something about him, he's captained the team at 19 years old. I mean I'd prefer a prolific young striker but not opposed to it.
  14. I would say so yes. 1-0 either way is gonna be the most popular scoreline this season, sadly when we're not clinical it will go against us too. Our lack of firepower means we can't afford to miss sitters, sadly it's gonna happen!
  15. Because there’s barely been anyone near him! Aside from Gueye who for a striker, has one of the worst shots I’ve ever seen. Like he has clogs on when it comes to taking a shot. His passing is decent though for the most part, I find it rather odd.
  16. Think we’d benefit from the fresh legs of Leonard at half time and hopefully ACD can lay a few on a plate for him
  17. I don't think we should be resting anyone, who do we think we are disrespecting Hull like that, today will be a tough game regardless. IF we were to rest anyone then Tronstad would be the last name on the list, he's absolutely crucial and even more so now Trav is out. He needs to get the partnership with Baker up to a similar standard if we're to keep up the top half of the table.
  18. Seen quite a few Hull fans grumbling about tickets not being on sale on the day for them. You'd think that ridiculous 'rule' would have been scrapped today, a perfect opportunity to get more fans through the door. It's not too far and many fans would have made the decision to travel over as there's not a lot else going on today!
  19. When someone on here posted a ticket that erroneously said unreserved seating you have to wonder how much potential there is for things to go tits up 🤣
  20. Yeah but even so, it was within the large gap at the front of the riverside, nothing to do with that block being populated with fans. Police just 'encouraged' fans to move along and the crowd dispersed. In short, there's absolutely no extra 'risk' from opening the end block.
  21. Come on, it was hardly mass disorder. People gathered telling them to fuck off and wreck their town etc with about 80 police in the middle. That was at the front of the stand anyway, all those people weren't sat in the end block. I'd say Ewood is one of the most secure grounds I've ever been to in terms of segregation with the massive gates up surrounding all sides, nothing would ever happen. Oh I tell a lie, i think a toothless dingle who was holding up an EDL flag whizzed a bottle of Fanta. Turf moor on the other hand, it threatened to kick off big time one season when the flimsy door separating us got booted through and a couple of young Asian stewards were the only ones there initially .
  22. I wouldn't be surprised if it is/was something as daft as a leak in the roof, Swag will have stretched the maintenance budget to patch it up in the hope of shifting more cans of fosters👍
  23. It'll be a great atmosphere up there, it'll make a noticeable difference having fans in the upper tier with dingle hatred filled vocals bouncing off the roof
  24. It doesn't really put the cost argument to bed though. We need to consistently improve the crowds at Ewood. Of course people will part with their cash for a one off game, granted nobody expected it to sell quite this well though. Improved season ticket sales are the only way to achieve consistency with the crowds. Get them on sale now promising a refund if we somehow achieve promotion.
  25. I watch a lot of football and the prem is probably my least favourite. Yet we'd be ecstatic to get there a again....it'd soon wear off like, but the cash would make it bearable
