  1. Not exactly an attractive proposition is it? "Come sign for us, we play in a decrepit old ground that's getting emptier by the week, the people who do attend rarely have a full set of teeth, additional digits on supporters hands is common. We play horrific football, as boring as you'll see in any ground in the country. We're in the prem, but only for a few months now, then we'll commence our plummet to league one."
  2. Bit nervous about this one I must admit. We weren't amazing against Huddersfield, albeit against tough opposition. We were poor last week albeit missing a few key personnel and a goalkeeper included who seemed intent on gifting Wigan the game. Highly doubtful We lost that game had Kaminski played. But we move on, and we really could do with getting back to winning ways. Cardiff have a dreadful home record this season, winning just 2 league games all season and one of them was way back in August, just the 1 draw which again was back in August. We really need 3 points here and at least 1 from Hull midweek I think, no way we'll get maximum points in a nightmare run of fixtures in Feb. Despite the nerves I'll got for a 2-0 Rovers win, Kaminski to save a penalty.
  3. Happy about that one, looks like a solid addition 😎
  4. New signing set to be announced, it'll be the right back....
  5. Called their game at the weekend off now against Leicester.....
  6. OK well 2 loan signings at the moment are 2 of our best players and both absolutely key to our current league position. On that basis not sure why you're dismissing a loan move, I'd certainly welcome another if he can come in and do a job.
  7. Dilan Markanday looks an interesting one he's seemingly on fire this season, adding goals to his impressive assists tally. I guess he'd be a ready made Poveda replacement.....
  8. I think the thought process behind Johnson was an experienced head as you say, but also the fact he 'could' cover at centre half if needed, he had to last season. We're better equipped right now though so it shouldn't even be a consideration to play him there. Unfortunately not playing matches means at his age he's always gonna be rusty if called upon. It'll definitely be his last season at this level.
  9. Sounds about right, they don't play over Xmas in Germany so not sure what goes on with the training schedules......He last played on 18th December.
  10. I think Wood will do OK on the toon, they'll be whipping crosses in, he'll get much better service there. He hit double figures the last few seasons. He's basically cover for Wilson. They need to survive and then they'll be in a much better position to sign bigger names, until then there's only so much they can do...
  11. What makes you think it's stalling? The usual process is for the media team to get involved and announce a signing over twitter and the official site. I wouldn't be surprised if that happens tomorrow morning.
  12. He's a class act, thought he would have bossed the Belgian league but seems there's been a few daft issues.
  13. What's the alternative? No apparent queue of premier league teams is there? Unless one swoops in the coming weeks, which I find unlikely.
  14. I wonder if Samba still has contacts at Hertha or if he offered any input regarding Zeefuik? Looking forward to him coming in, even if Nyambe did somehow end up staying. Its our weakest position regardless so we need at least 1 new option there.
  15. 4 or 5 teams interested apparently. I'd like to think we're one but we don't seem to have much of a relationship with united in recent seasons, more their blue neighbours.
  16. Probably a bit of both Chaddy. That's pretty poor for a weekend FA cup tie though however you dress it up.
  17. Did they announce the attendance today? Looked VERY empty on the clips I saw apart from the Huddersfield end...
  18. Mowbray said he was struggling and would have come off if it went to extra time. Nyambe injured (again) too along with Pickering. Absolutely grim day and we've got real problems now.
  19. Absolute disaster of a day. A loss A goalkeeping horror show worse than any I've ever seen Injuries to 1 key player and another who perhaps isn't as key but still needed in Gallagher. Sure Van Hecke was limping too? Wasn't gonna have a drink but hell fire after that 😳
  20. Looks to me that they've basically given the scouts a brief "go find me a Nyambe, but a version that can cross a ball". Agree with what people are saying regarding making judgement on a highlights reel though (hopefully that's not what our scouts have done 🤣). I don't want Nyambe to leave, but, he's the easiest to replace - in my opinion of course. I think he carries a bit more of an emotional pull with some people as he's been here since he was 13, understandable. All we can hope for is that these players are hanging on till the end of Jan to see if better offers are wafted in front of them from other clubs, if they aren't they bite the bullet and sign those contracts for US. Let's face it we're a much more attractive proposition now than we were at the start of the season, at which point they would have been bonkers to sign new contracts.....
  21. I do wonder if the impressive number of fans attending pushes Mowbray to play a stronger team than originally planned? Should be a decent game depending on how much the teams shuffle their packs and goals at both ends 2-3 win for me
  22. That's what sheff utd fans think of him.... As you say its brutal though, sometimes when an out of favour player is touted with a move away some fans exaggerate how shite they are but it's pretty unanimous....
