  1. Regarding the Burke interest, I just don't get it personally. Really isn't rated by Sheff utd fans and was crap at WBA. Furthermore do we really want a player who prances about with a man bag?
  2. Newcastle going for Trips signals their intentions to be honest, tried and tested players. I'd be amazed if they have any interest in Brereton, he'd be a gamble without a doubt.
  3. Newcastle are better off bidding 100m for Cornet, he's literally the only glimmer of hope for that shower down the road...
  4. Disappointing but not the end of the world against one of the form teams in the league, to get a clean sheet against them also a bonus. That's 1 goal conceded in the last 7 games folks and that 1 goal was a ridiculous scrappy one, that alone speaks volumes on how far we've come. I think the downpours before KO hindered us big time just like they did against Preston although we managed the crucial goal that day. The pitch concerns me, let's hope we get some drier weather soon. We're 2nd in the league at the end of the day and although Fulham have those games in hand it's a position we never dreamed of being in at the start of the season. A week off from league action has probably come at a good time, play the youngsters vs Wigan now for sure.
  5. I reckon so, probably a mutual agreement as it hasn't really worked out and it's not benefitting his career. Shame really after how well Harvey did last season.
  6. Unchanged again but Butty on the bench for Clarkson
  7. Watford can at least score goals with Dennis and King, Burnley have Cornet possibly when he's fit. They're are down as a team can be
  8. you'd struggle to spin a positive out of THIS
  9. The fantastic ride has been used to push half season tickets, it's worked, the facts speak for themselves. That's clearly been the focus, half season tickets aren't as appealing if we start dishing out cheap match day tickets, yet. I dare say there'll be a few cheap games coming up if we can maintain the promotion push. Anyone who bought a Barnsley ticket had that deducted from the half season ticket price, if we were to do that following this game then that would push even more, 170 quid becomes VERY appealing especially if we win again, roughly 18 quid a game.... Everyone's never going to agree on pricing or price promotions, the only thing I think we'll all agree on is they messed up at the start of the season. Nobody, literally nobody (apart from Chaddy obviously 🙄) expected the season to pan out how it has though or they'd have shifted more even at those prices. Very naive indeed but I do think Swag is listening now, well I know he is as he's been in discussion with fans saying they'd look at pricing and he did stick to his word.
  10. Club shop was absolutely rammed by all accounts this morning, doesn't sound like the price is causing mass outrage for everyone...
  11. Current climate dictates that it makes sense to purchase tickets on the day if possible, now more so than ever. Covid is rife, what's the point in buying tickets in advance when there's a chance you might not be able to attend?
  12. I don't think it's too extortionate a price, but yes I know I'm in a minority on here. The gate will be similar to the Barnsley game I imagine, especially with Huddersfield bringing bigger numbers following their win last night and they can pay on the day too. They're on a decent run of form but we should remember WE are the form team and the ones to beat right now. 1 loss in 11 games is some going at any level. 2-0 win for this one. That scrappy Barnsley goal looked to really annoy us, poor way to lose the impressive run of clean sheets, they'll be keen to put things right.
  13. Sturridge? 🤣 He's only played in 1 game then refused to play the next one as it was an away game and he didn't fancy the travel. That's on the back of his ban from football for breaching gambling rules. He REALLY sounds the type of player we need to come into a settled dressing room 🙄
  14. Wheres this Gilmour idea come from? He's been Norwich's best player this season. Are people just going off him getting a bit of stick against Palace and dreaming up a loan move?
  15. I'm sure you've played football at some level, watching someone bang a shot in every time they got the ball in regardless is annoying as hell ain't it? I've nothing at all against Armo and hope he does well its just my opinion.
  16. I got absolute pelters for saying perhaps Armstrong was a bad apple, team spirit better now yep? Diaz more likeable? Also yep. Makes you think....
  17. Wtf is going on with Lenihan? He's now gone from hoof ball extraordinaire to Franco Baresi? Outstanding again and confidence as high at can be. I think if that minging goal hadn't sneaked in just before HT we'd have banged 4 in, such a scabby one and disrupted us. Above all else the fans are absolutely loving football again.
  18. I know a ridiculous number of people who've got covid currently, I'm talking people in general not just football mates, it's bound to have an impact though. The problem then is it may appear that 20 quid tickets doesn't look like its worth bothering with to swag....hope I'm totally wrong though and the lads get the decent crowd they deserve....
  19. The guidance is far too vague to start with. It says they should only use u23 players with 'appropriate experience'. Who the hell is judging the levels of experience required? Newcastle without ASM and Wilson would be pretty dire, much like Everton without DCL and Richarlison would have been vs Burnley. It's quite simple, you don't field a team you forfeit 3 points. See how many cry off with covid then....
  20. Could do with an early goal tbh much like the Birmingham game, because it'll end up a frustrating park the bus job if not. No reason it can't end up a similar score to the Birmingham game if we do get an early one, a narrow 1-0 win if not...
  21. Yeah unless both teams go out of the cup in the next round then it'll have to be midweek. Fixture pile ups are inevitable as the season can't end late because of the ridiculous world Cup next year. It would have been in Hulls best interest to play albeit with a depleted team (allegedly anyway)
  22. Done. It alleges that I'll receive a response within 7 days, I won't hold my breath though...
  23. Still livid about the shit show yesterday. We were literally 10 minutes from Hull when they announced it. No doubt the rearranged fixture will be a Tuesday night meaning I'll struggle to attend as I'm sure many others will as I saw quite a few fellow fans with children. Is it really that hard to put a sensible deadline in place to stop fans wasting both time and money, this isn't a one off, it keeps happening.
  24. Not really, have you seen how late some games have been called off? Particularly for them rancid claret neighbours. I'm completely on edge personally!
