  1. I got told the same but took it with a massive pinch of salt, allegedly one of the players has said it.
  2. 1. Will Steve Waggott still be at Rovers on 1/7/22 ? If no, date of departure. Sadly yes I think he probably will. He'll have a load of excuses already lined up for dwindling crowds and lack of funds etc. You do have to wonder how long people can keep waving the covid card as an excuse though. 2. Will Tony Mowbray still be manager on 1/2/22 ? If no, date of departure. No, I think he's gonna end up walking. I encourage every single supporter who is still attending to let their feelings known. Now although Ewood won't be a cauldron of hate there's still enough people in the Blackburn End to get a point over to him. No more hiding in the dugout sulking Tony I'm afraid. Of course the loons from Pune will have no idea and I've given up on the idea of him actually being sacked so it's the only hope. 3. Rovers Player of the Season 21/22 ? Brereton but Kaminski is gonna be bloody busy so he's bound to be a contender. 4. Where will Rovers finish the season ? So much is going to depend on injuries and we'll need a LOT of luck on that front. Obviously the Armstrong factor is a rather large one too. I do think there's some pretty poor teams though, particularly the promoted ones and Derby are in trouble. I'll go for 18th and another dismal season. 5. Who will be championship winners ? Between Fulham and WBA, I don't think Sheff Utd will be great and don't think any of the other teams will even come close.
  3. There's literally 2 players on that list I'd like to have kept, Elliott and THB but obviously neither was an option anyway. I get your point though.
  4. We're edging closer and closer to the start of the season with still a heavy emphasis on youth. Whilst it's normal to involve the younger lads pre season it seems a lot more crucial this time out. The team at Bolton should effectively be our starting 11 for the Swansea game so will give an even better idea. Could it be that after the Brockhall plan went tits up he's been told in no uncertain terms that he can go and bloody well use that academy talent now and no further funds are available? It's not cheap to run and they want some kind of return on it. Was Barr getting wind of this too and realised half the players he'd worked with last season wouldn't be available this? Possibly reading too much into it all mind.....
  5. Diaz already skipping past players 🇨🇱 On another note, Mowbray wearing a face mask on his arm sums him up for me 🤣
  6. At a time when the club are struggling to do literally anything right I suppose we should be happy the kits are superb IMO.
  7. Usually pushed straight into the boozer then bussed to the ground at Leeds these days
  8. Mowbray isolating and won't be there today apparently. Closest we're gonna get to a new manager is Venus taking charge 🙄
  9. Has a post on the official twitter ever got 10k likes, nevermind the current 13.4k for Brereton Diaz? We'd probably sell more shirts in Chile than England 😳
  10. I imagine it's quite the opposite at some clubs with many having a "can't wait to get back in the ground" attitude too. Such is the general apathy to our club right now though I doubt there's many with that mindset in our fanbase. I am in a way looking forward to getting back in the stands but it's pretty difficult to justify a season ticket. It'll be another season of picking and choosing games for me. I'll struggle to make midweek games for starters and there no need to have a season ticket to secure away tickets for high profile games any more. I'm not precious about securing a set seat as I'll sit near enough anywhere in the Bburn end, it's never hard to get a decent seat buying on match day. On top of that as I've already said I'm expecting a lot of disruption next season due to covid, but that's just an additional factor in my decision rather than the main reason.
  11. I've absolutely no confidence in the season being a normal one. Only tonight Arsenal have called off their pre season tour due to some positive cases. I don't want to sound like that negative guy but the way things are going postponed games will be plentiful again next season. I'm sure that element of doubt must be in other people's minds too and perhaps influencing some people's decision. Even if games are on the rates round here are gonna mean people missing games through isolation etc too.
  12. Not missed any point. Read your first sentence, realise you're wrong then you wind your little neck in 😁
  13. What are you even talking about? Do you just pluck this stuff out your backside? Ben White had a stint at posh on loan, hadn't even represented England at any youth level yet would only go to someone 'knocking on the door'? Pereira spent most of his career in Sportings reserves and pretty sure he got relegated in Germany prior to his baggies move on loan. In short, you're wrong again.
  14. Loans are absolutely crucial to a club our size IF we were to mount a promotion challenge. The likes of Ben White and Pereira 2 obvious recent examples of key players who helped their adopted clubs to promotion. If we're to piss about around mid/lower half of the table again though not sure what the point is, unless we're that bad we need bodies to keep us in the damn league.
  15. If football clubs, on anywhere else for that matter accept showing them a text from the NHS as proof of a negative test there's really no point bothering and I understand that's what Fylde did. I have genuine texts and it's SO easy to just edit this for the relevant date etc.
  16. Leeds tickets out, 15 quid a pop for adults. Riverside seemingly closed.
  17. If you went off last season alone, Wyke looked a decent player. But that wasn't his first season there and his career has been spent at a pretty poor level. Avoid for me
  18. That would have been some goal! What a shame its over for Chile now, its been an enjoyable distraction following Ben's International journey and it can surely only have done him the world of good 👍
  19. Doubt it's anything to do with his agents, journalists just putting stories out there because Isak is likely to leave Sociedad.
  20. Yeah I don't think our recruitment will spread as far as signing players from Brazilian leagues for one minute, just an observation they link up well and that I can't see our Sam replicating it.
  21. If I was unfortunate enough to support PNE I wouldn't even be that arsed about paying that price for 1 game a season, it's what an extra tenner maybe on a more reasonable price? We are of course their cup final, have they seen how much tickets cost at Wembley? 🙄 They'll all end up paying it too, home fans however definitely won't.
  22. We need to sign Vargas to partner him up top next season. Despite the obvious language barrier they seem to be building a good understanding. Instead we'll have Sam bumbling about like a semi tranquilized pony.
  23. More interested in tonight's game than Englands tomorrow personally after watching that shit show on Friday!
  24. Has there been any mention in regards to kick off times next season? Not entirely season ticket related but would sway my decision. 6pm kick offs would be an absolute no chance after work, I struggle to make 7:45pm ones. Assuming 6pm will be binned off IF covid clears up a bit?
