Still think he keeps his "Gob shut"? As someone mentioned, he was cool and collected only coz he was exceeding expectations. However, when he feels hard done by, as in yesterdays game, he doesnt seem any better than most managers. His comments last night may put him in a lot of hot water.....

For the past 3 months its been either Todd or Zurab in the XI and the other out of the 16. Hughes prefers to have Mokoena as the back-up defender/defensive midfielder .

Agreed. I am much more confident of beating Chelsea then of beating Pool. Brum are hopeless in attacking though, and Pompey away may be tougher than Brum away

I can guarantee that in such a case we will bottle and fail to overtake the rest. Its never easy playing later even if you know you are going to overtake someone. Its always better to play early and have 3 points in hand rather than a game in hand. Just look at Bolton and their "3 games in hand".

You're wrong there. We are BRFC fans, which means we support Blackburn more passionately than other fans support their team.

Got the first correct, philipl What are the odds now of us finishing 4th and Arsenal winning the CL?

Was nice to see that when he mis-hit a pass to Emerton against Boro , he apologised immediately Then again when he doent get an accurate pass, he does show his displeasure -

Hope Tugay will remain fit for this one Does anyone else think Bellamy should be given a rest between now and the end of the season, possibly in this game? This may prove to be our easiest game following which we have home games against pool and Chelsea and trips to relegation battlers, 4 games for which we really need Bellamy. Better rest him now than have him miss more crucial games -
I agree that players often reflect their managers' attitude. How many Liverpool players actually try to intimidate the referee like Terry does? Or how many Rovers players go to ground easily ? These are plus points that are present in Benitez and Hughes respectively, and it has rubbed on to their players

I thought RFW and Whinger were bad, but honestly, Mourinho is the worst of them all. He simply cant accept that his team can lose fair and square, and he now has the galls to say everyones biased against them. Sure, RFW and Whinger are hypocritical but Mourinho is hypocritical in a much more blatant way

Fulham's win over Chelsea maks me feel we can do the same. They showed what exactly is needed to win against Chelsea: 1) Taking your chances, however few they are 2) A referee who isnt scared of Mourinho or Terry and has the guts to be impartial 3) Chelsea not being able to convert their chances

Its extremely frustrating to see the boys play so well, and yet fail to move up the table Notlob, Arsenal, and Spurs just cant seem to stop winning

The only reason Savage got sent off is probably coz the Referee wanted to be the "first" to send Savage off in Premiership game. Wait till you read this in the ref's biography 20 years from now..... -

He may start with Pogno and Bells. However if the first half doesnt yield a goal, i think he should bring Kuqi on asap. -

Before the past 5-6 games, Zurab-Nelsen was our best duo. However Nelsen-Todd have had a number of clean sheets recently like Arsenal 1-0 or Villa 2-0 so theres no point in changing it -

Maybe Kuqi should start Also didnt know MGP had a trial with Boro -
2-1 to Rovers, Bentley and Pongolle for us, Baros for them. Predict Baros to be diving all around the place today
-
Mendes scores his second blinder of the day 3 minutes into injury time meaning Man City fall further behind

As the 1st half draws to an end in 4 games, notlob look poised to overtake us as they lead west ham 3-0. If WH dont stage a fightback in the 2nd half, it will vastly improve Boltons goal difference as well
-
Blackburn need a win to get back on track for a European place. Though the fact they are sixth perhaps says more about the league than about them. Even though Lawro precited a Rovers win, he had to make a brainless comment, didnt he? How on earth does Rovers coming 6th imply a weak league?

Bellamy's finish was excellent yesterday I shudder to think what would have happened if Kuqi was in his place. On his recent performances, Bellamy should be among the top 3 British strikers out there. Is there a better striker out there apart from Rooney and maybe Owen? -

Keane has done such stuff before also. He always tries to claim own-goals with his cartwheels, will someone tell him his celebration is just not cool and overused?? -

Dickov should come on for Bentley or Emerton after 60 minutes if we are still down Pongolle missed a sitter from 1 yard, yes one yard out Bellamy has been awesome whenever he had the space, while Bentley and Emerton were largely anonymous
