  1. Thought Mickey Gray was way off the pace but thats probably down to match fitness and he worked as hard as he could to do something about it. Neill on the other hand really did look like he couldn't be arsed - definately his worst game for ages, whats going-on there? Also it looks like Nonda & Benni are going to have to put some work into their partnership - both good players but as a pair they don't look great right now On the positive side Zurab would have been my MOM if it hadn't been for Brad's saves and its good to see Jeffers scoring and looking sharp albeit for just a short time. Lets hope we can combine a decent performance with a good result at Villa and get our prem season back on track.
  2. 2-2 horrible game, at least 1 red card (its only being so cheerful that keeps me going)
  3. Fantastic - well played lads :)
  4. David Bentley you are a star
  5. Hmm, Rovers keeping a clean sheet would be good. We won't want to loose and neither will they 0-0.
  6. You already can, they are completely unnecessary - you can do the whole thing if you can do your own conveyancing, otherwise you just need a solicitor. As for the BBC - very poor, threw a lot of mud at fat sam, some of it will probably stick, but otherwise they proved nowt.
  7. Selling that nice Jason Wilcox
  8. Thought Nonda looked pertty good on first viewing and Gallagher must be the scruffiest player in the prem. thats all
  9. Rovers to finally get their s**t together. 3-1 Jeffers, Mcarthy & Neill with cheeky wee Paul Dickov nutting one in as a consolation.
  10. PLease could someome PM me with the link, I've installed the TVANTS S/W but I'm not sure where to go next - thanks
  11. Thought there was a nasty big space in the middle of our midfield with chelsea players wandering about in it. Reid and Savage very poor today. Obviously they were playing against a top midfield, but they gave the ball away so often when they did have it, we're in deep doo doo if they can't get it together. However, overall we did well and I was very disapointed by chelsea, not for the first time, all that cash, all those players, but where's the football? Fancy spending £1000 for a season ticket to watch that every week, jesus.
  12. After Everton scorred last night everything went quiet for a while, it seemed like people were waiting for the drummers to start-up, which they didn't for ages, so it stayed quiet. I know we're not the noisiest home crowd in the prem but we used to make a fair bit of noise before we had the drummers and there seemed to be more variety in chants etc.
  13. Good news - now he can get himself sent-off properly against Everton
  14. Jimmy Cliff - The Harder They Come (or You Can Get It If You Really Want)
  15. Haven't had time to look back through everyone's messages today, so sorry if this is a repeat, but I just wanted to say I thought Lucas was fantastic last night (altho some of his forward runs made me a little uneasy). If he can keep that up next season Neill and Nelson might make a brilliant partnership at the centre of defence.
  16. Surely they were called BIG Heath Alliance
  17. I didn't say he's been as influential as Duff was, but I did say that comparing the Duff of this season with the MGP of this season I might well go with MGP. Clearly if Duff came back and recaptured his old form there wouldn't be many players who could hold a candle to him. chill
  18. Apologies tcj - wasn't angry at you, I did notice that you expressed your reservations. Was just letting off a bit of steam generally. There seem to be too many people not too upset at the idea of letting MGP go, sometimes you have to wonder what a player has to do to at Rovers to get appreciated....oh no, here I go again...
  19. Scholes was also at the Breezeblok, apparently looking at Nolan for Man U - they're after a central midfielder to replace Keen, so it seems more likely that it was Reid he was watching, not MGP.
  20. Look at Duff this season and MGP this season, who would you rather have? (...I'd love to have Duff back but not replacing MGP)
  21. Having players like Pedersen in the team is what will see us compete for European football on a regular basis. Ok so if we sold him we might then be able to spend some cash on someone similar, then it'll take another year to 18 months to get them integrated into the team like Pedersen has. Unless you're very lucky you can't drop players into a team and just expect them to gel. We're supposed to be building a team here not just deciding which sweeties we'd like off the shelf - ok so its easier to build a team if you can spend some money, but you dont make a start, then chuck away a chunk of what you've done and go back to the beginning again. Jesus! And another thing....we're all concerned about poor gates, well they won't get any better if we get rid of our best and most popular players.
  22. Bagpipes..hmm now theres a thought...
  23. That would be the band which could only play two tunes (Great Escape & Dambusters) over and over again and drove everyone mad.
