if he wants to be considered world-class, he'll have to perform better in finals & on the international stage. 700 + minutes without a goal (@ the stade de france). but in premiership terms, it's hard to pay tribute in words to Henry. he's a pleasure to watch.

agreed hughesy, in terms of pricing there's not a lot more rovers can do. most of people saying they cant afford 'a' season tkt, are just searching for excuses. in terms of pricing, rovers cant do anymore and should be applauded for the many initiatives they have tried. -

erm.... i'll stand corrected if that is the case. barca are a basque club arent they? i know theyre catalan, but thought they were basque. sure sky mentioned barca v espanyol being 'basque derby.' i was meaning cole would get stick off the basque clubs, like bilbao etc... impressed by your spelling, 'le chuck.' i know how to spell 'basque' now! -
okay, i wont. bye, bye then.....

i'm glad barca won, cant stand wenger (his arrogant attitude) and david dein. i see their point about the sending off, ref blew too quickly and shouldve gave himself some thinking time, given barca a goal and lemon a yellow. *was great seeing lemon devastated! couldnt of happened to a nicer fellow!* i was staggered by henry's comments. even taking into account he was interviewed just after the whistle, i've never heard a star player slagging off the opposition's stars! he should look at his own displays. although he worked hard, and was upfront on his own, his misses were extremly costly and mirrored his FA CUP FINAL performances ,against liverpool and southampton. i thought TH was a 'real sportsman' and he shouldve followed campbell and cole's example, by being gracious in defeat. wenger's ints werent any better, but i didnt expect anything else. as for terry vegetables being drunk, maybe he's just getting some practice in, before teaming up with his drinking buddy- steve gibson. *gibson is making enquires about billy davies, to start as his assistant and be groomed as his sucessor*

if you say so.... -
you probably wont be far off, presty. i predict a game similar to milan v barca (1st leg). tactical chess (which i enjoy)- for an hour, someone scores cue the fireworks for the next half hour and extra-time. tickets changing hand for £5000 euros! i'm considering becoming a tout. spanish journos are claiming henry is already a barca player, some reckon the man himself might even announce it after the game! (cant see that happening though).

i'm with you on that. all linesmen are incapable of making decisions for themselves! the ref always points the way, on throw-ins, freekicks and corners and the linesman copies him. easy! good work if you can get it!

carlos is always linked. cant see any decent prem team wanting him. he's getting on now, not as good going forward and has never been able to def. gallas will go to milan this summer (inc in shev transfer). heard cole will leave arsenal this summer & go to barca. chelski of course are interested, but cole doesnt see moving straight from arse - chelski as a wise move. apparantly he plans a season or 2 in spain and then return to england (chelski or the dominant team @ the time). by that time the arsenal fans will have calmed down a bit and will have accepted his departure. real would be interested, providing they could flog carlos, but cole isnt enamered by real's fans after 'monkey chants' in the bernabeu or 2 occasions. he'll still get stick in the bask derbies though. -

most ticket office staff leave a lot to be desired. when ringing for my QPR ticket, took 20 mins, as i wanted my own seat! i've had a STK for 20 years (same seat for 12 years) and the club have regularly sold my seats for the 1st home games. happened for man utd (grabbi game) and wolves (h) 5-1. they blame the computer system, i blame incompetance. in the old days they just used to leave the ticket office phone off the hook. before the trelleborg game the phone was engaged for a wk and couldnt get through. had to go down to the ground in the end. sympathise with you ste, cant believe it cant be sorted. it's not rocket science! -
spurs for me! they've had dillusions of grandeour since the 60's!

i salute you for getting your priorities right and deciding to have a Season Ticket over SKY is the right decision. i record rovers highlights of sky and could do you copies next season. just PM me.

give my city mate a lift yesterday and she, like the rest of the city fans, booed the players when they came over at the end of the game. she was furious, with the lack of effort and passion (not least because she bet me a 'free night out' - that city would win!) the axe has a dead leg. good news as looked far more serious at the time. -

good work MC. lets hope we make it to 63 (MH's target at begining of the season). the stats go to show- it doesnt get much better than this! -
think 'handful' might even pushing it. i can only remember west ham, man u and middlesborough games, where the atmosphere was loud as it should be! agree with bellers and blackburn end always makes the effort. the rest of the home support should be a lot more partizan. i blame the drummers! (see appropriate thread).

B D, i've looked everywhere and cant find the exact amounts for this years placings. if i remember rightly rovers finished 15th, last season, and got 1.5 M. (half M a place) so id say betw 6& 7 M. someone will post the correct amount, no doubt.
