  1. He's got an Applehead as well.
  2. I think there were rumours to that effect, yes. Savage was the big cheese before Dunn arrived and he also took over penalty duties from Sav. He then proceeded to miss a couple, and Savage was re-instated as the taker. However, from what i've seen whilst Sav has been a Rover, he does seem like a genuine team player and a well-liked member of the squad.
  3. Good grief. Footballers have come a long way since opening pubs, chippys and sports shops!
  4. What does he have in mind after his playing days Dave?
  5. I just immediatly assumed he was talking about John Curtis.
  6. I heard a rumour to that effect in the Club on Saturday that he intends to do that if Bruce blocks our bid. That said, its probably just chinese whispers.
  7. Apologies for turning this into an episode of "Animal Magic" but is Vegas a lab like yours?
  8. How's the dogs paw BTW?
  9. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this move came off. BFS clearly believes he has a knack of getting the best out of unfit/unwanted players, and he raved about Dunn when we were competing for automatic promotion back in 2000/2001. An interesting comparison would be between Dunn and Kevin Nolan, who both started off their careers at the same time. I rated Dunn much higher than Nolan, but I know who I'd rather have around now.
  10. Im pretty certain you need a hard drive to use Live. I think they go for about 70 quid.
  11. David May. Keith Hill and Craig Skinner went to Plymouth in a sort of double deal.
  12. Watford, Reading, Wigan & Hull?
  13. The only time I can remember is when we let in 6 at Man City (of all places) in the 83/84 season.
  14. Brownie, I apologise. As a "relative" newcomer to the site, I didn't know that your sources can be relied upon. There is so much drivel on here about Dunn (because he's a local lad presumably) that I have to take things with a pinch of salt.
  15. Why do half the people assume that if Neill goes to Liverpool he will be on the bench? He's a far better right back than Finnann in my opinion.
  16. Newsflash....Hitler invades Poland!
  17. Is that when he simply put his thumbs up?
  18. Bloody Hell Snatch, Special Brew, havent had that in years. Do you think i'm a tramp sat outside the Market Hall?
  19. Whilst I sort of agree with the sentiment, you certainly could not fault his committment or effort on Saturday, despite the boo boys.
  20. 1. Its only a matter of time before someone puts through one of the windows on the exec. boxes or at least has a bloody good go. 2. Suggestions for filling up corporate boxes? Haven't got a clue, I don't see the appeal myself. A few more prawn sandwiches or carafes of house wine perhaps? What I am willing to bet is that none of those Newcastle fans had paid BRFC a penny for watching that game on Saturday and they were just on a corporate jolly on freebie tickets.
  21. I think the main thing to bear in mind is that Hodgson was (apparently) very unpopular with the senior players. I don't think for one minute that Hughes and his team have "lost" the dressing room.
  22. In a nushell, she had the ball almost near the corner flag deep in stoppage time. She quickly gave it back to the Liverpool Player, and hey presto Super put through his own net. On MOTD The Chin said it was the ball girls fault as she had thrown the ball back too quickly!
  23. I think it was Jillian Nuttall or something like that.... Or possibly Maynard....
  24. Apparently, some "extra cirricular" activities with a female member of staff didn't help his cause......allegedly.
