  1. Well no offence but I'm more likely to believe the likes of Mark Hughes and Jose Mourinho than yourself.
  2. It should be harder. I'm able to win most games with 6 star difficulty (Which can be purchased with PES points) easily on PES 4.
  3. I wouldn't buy a half season ticket based on one performance. If Mark Hughes keeps to his guarantee at the beginning of the season and Blackburn look like having an "exciting" season I will certainly purchase a half season ticket without hesitation. In the summer and up to now I haven't been fully convinced (though I don't believe Rovers will be relegation candidates) but winning at Old Trafford was a major confidence booster for me and hopefully others. Being bored to death for the last 2 years and losing my enthusiasm was the main reason I didn't renew. Instead of getting a full season ticket I decided to go to most home matches (Which I feel is reasonable after the last 2 seasons) and if things have improved by Christmas I will have no hesitation in renewing.
  4. http://www.4thegame.com/club/southend-unit...jimcorbett.html Looks like he's found his level.
  5. Feels great as well dosen't it? I certainly don't agree with the booing of Alex Ferguson however although I'm hardly his biggest fan. Man United fans have a reputation for being glory seekers and rightly so. Looks like they have a reputation for being the most ungrateful now as well. Blackburn's win there was long overdue anyway judging by the amount of times BRFC have been screwed at Old Trafford since the start of the Premier League. Hopefully Benfica can make it even worse for them later this evening. I believe that street thug is suspended which hardly helps their cause.
  6. Absolutely sure. I'm sure someone could back me up on it or you could check for yourself. I know the point you're making but he obviously wasn't good enough to play at this level. 3 different managers and a caretaker can't all have been wrong on their judgement of him.
  7. He was here for 5 years so I certainly think he had enough time to show his abilities. He signed for over £500,000 yet I'm sure he never featured in a single league game while he was here.
  8. A good run of results could also see an increase in half season ticket sales. I've had a season ticket for the last 3 seasons prior to this one but I wasn't fully convinced with Mark's prediction of an exciting season. My worst fear isn't relegation finishing in the bottom half is. I've attended a couple of home matches this season and will continue to attend on a match to match basis until half season tickets go on sale. If Rovers are looking a decent proposition for a top half finish (as is the club's aim) I will certainly be subscribing to one.
  9. Well Corbett wasn't exactly a factor. He hardly ever featured.
  10. I've been waiting just over 8 years to see Blackburn win at Old Trafford which is no comparison to those who have waited the last 43 years I suppose. I just wish Jack was there to see it. I wasn't feeling particularly excited before the fixture. Shows there must be something wrong when you aren't excited on the day we play our biggest rivals. In my ninth season supporting BRFC I must admit that I haven't been excited at the beginning of last season or this which is in stark contrast to the previous 7 all of which I had positive hopes for. I'm pleased to say one result has turned those negative feelings into something positive again. For the first time since 2003 (with occasional exceptions) I'm genuinely excited to be going to Ewood this weekend.
  11. Mark Hughes has stated today (LET) that he made a mistake in not having Michael Gray in his first team plans last season. "I though Michael Gray was excellent on Saturday and I've probably done him a disservice. He was in the side initially when I first came to the club and it was at a period when there wasn't enough time for him to reap the benefits of the work that we've done since." Miachael himself is quoted as saying Mark Hughes was right to drop him last season after 2 consecutive 4-0 defeats. It seems he's been showing an excellent attitude in training. Seems like bad news for Dominic Matteo who due to his unfortunate injury rather than poor form may now face a fight to retain his place. That is if Gray can produce on a consistent basis.
  12. I don't believe Blackburn are going to let us down but my feeling is that it could be a very narrow win rather than the comprehensive win some are predicting. It can be very hard for anyone other than the top 3 or 4 to produce great performances twice in a row. So a win probably 1-0 or 2-1.
