Unfortunately, easier said than done for some people. I can`t wait for the season to start. As always, I think the squad looks good. Could be better but could be worse but at the same time should be able to hold their own. I`m a bit concerned about Souness`s tactical abilities and his abilty to get on with individuals but thaTs life. What grates with me are the individuals who post on this site who are NEVER happy no matter who is in charge of the team, the board/finances, youth, reserves for reasons that only they know but never have an alternative. Which is what we all said last year about Leicester, Wolves, Leeds, Portsmouth etc. It didn`t work out that way last season and it won`t this season. It never does, not even for the big guns like Arsenal, Utd and Chelsea. We still stayed up though didn`t we? Defeat against West Brom would not be a disaster. Don`t be so bloody stupid. We stuffed Wolves and then had a nightmare season. Maybe we will lose to West Brom and have a great season. Don`t be so pre judgemental. What will be will be but it certainly won`t be decided on our first game as we found out last year.

I wouldn`t even call it a write off never mind a laughing stock. We all know that Cole had a huge contribution in helping us stay up a couple of years ago. God only knows how much that extra time in the premiership has earnt us but it must be a damn sight more than what Cole has cost us in transfer fees and wages. I`m still not sad to see him go now mind. He just didn`t endear himself to me for some reason. Moody git.

Agreed. Just after Souness arrived I saw an interview with Dunny who said that a move to Man.city was imminent for half a million. That was Kidds idea. Souness stopped it in its tracks which Dunn was very thankful for. If Cole is leaving then I hope it all happens quick sharp so we can get on with things.

I`ve stuck by Flitty in the past. I`ve also said it is great that Ferguson is the new captain. However, no matter who was the previous captain, they should have been told personally face to face. If Flitty has found out about it through the press then i`m afraid my faith in Souness will sink to an all time low and look forward to plenty more spats between him and the players over the coming season.

Can I point out that approximately 60000 English fans have visited Portugal over the past 2 weeks. There has been approximately 30 arrests. That is a grand total of 0.0005% of visiting English fans arrested. As in Japan, we have been a huge credit to our country and like the Japenese police, the Portugese police must be wondering what the hell all the fuss is about.
