--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Ste B @ Dec 13 2006, 23:38 ) 467673[/snapback]</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec--> The way its panning out, it could be a 4 out of 7 chance as theres likely to be 2 from each country left. Just had a look at flights to the known teams who have finished third. The most expensive appears to be Tel-Aviv. At the moment you can get to each of them for under £250 however the Waregame is by far the chaepest dependant where you fly to as there is no airport in Waregam however two are within 90 minutes on the train. Don't you or your wife own a Fenebache shirt Glenn?
-
As I understand Glenn, we will not be playing a team from the same qualifying group or another team from England. Also PSG finished second in their group, therefore the current three which we could play are Zulte-Wagem, Hapoel Tel-Aviv and Fenerbache. From looking at these teams I wish we had lost tonight. Don't fancy a trip to either Turkey or Israel.

[Archived] Shabani Nonda Signs
Jordan replied to FourLaneBlue's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
And based on reviews on here it is quite obvious that fans are not happy with his contribution. Nonda has not exactly set the world alight whilst playing for Blackburn. He has scored two goals for us is about 15 appearances. Not good enough in my opinion. -
Curbishley confirmed as West ham manager with Mervyn Day as assistant. LINK

Not knowing Blackburn too well do you think that would effect traffic coming in from the A666 from Clitheroe way? -
WOW I think you have just persuaded me to move to Reading.

The thrill of waking up in the morning knowing that your going to football and you are going to have a top day out with your mates, win lose or draw. The alcohol helps as well.

Arrive at about 11:30 so will probably be in the pub at the train station. Give me call when you arrive.

Just watching the Lazio Roma match and something quite strange has happened. The Roma keeper gave a penalty away and the referee pointed to the spot. He then went and spoke with the assistant and gave the keeper the red card. The Roma keeper then complained the ref went back over to the assistant they spoke for a bit and then the ref produced the yellow card and showed it to the keeped. The Roma keeper stayed on the pitch.

Currently playing alot of this as off work at the moment. Its such a frustrating game but very addictive. Sometimes you get a half decent score and sometimes you cannot score for toffee. Current league finishes at 20.00 and Rovers are currently 6th behind Clyde, Hamilton Accidemicals, The dingles, Ross County and York. -

Pedersen was crap on Saturday, granted he scored a cracking goal but didn't do much else IMO whereas Bentley did have a poor game however he has been performing alot better than Gamst so far this season. I also think that by dropping Pedersen he will realise that his name does not automatically put itself on the team sheet and hopefully that will benefit him and Rovers in the long run. -
Great Preview. Its going to be a tough scappy game which will see Rovers gain their second win on the road. 1-0 Ooijer with the important goal from a corner. On a more important note, what is the 'away' pub as I have never been to Reading before. I have checked my away guide from 1998 which says that the Firkin at Train Station and The Three Guineas are the best for the away fans.

Home and Away Mick. LINK to the UEFA website which confirms that all rounds apart from the final are two legs.

Hopefully Hughes will play a stong team but bring in Derbyshire and Peter from the start. I would play ----------------Friedel------------ Neill----Ooijer----Todd©---Gray Bentley--Tugay--Savage--Peter ---Derbyshire----McCarthy----- If Jeffers is fit I would like to think he would play a large part of the game, possibly start him with McCarthy and bring Derbyshire on at halftime. Result - Rovers 2 Nancy 0 Attendance 10'351. -
The ball was played backwards therefore he was onside.
-
No it wasn't.

FFS All my results come in today apart from bottom of the table Macclesfield beat Notts County. Gutted! -
IMO he is twice as good as Gally was when he has played. Dissapointing result today but I was very impressed with the second half performance. At half time I was wondering how many we were going to lose by at full time I felt we were unlucky not to get the draw. Pederson goal was a beauty but he still had a very poor game and Neill #!@* Off! Still confident that we can finish in the top ten.

I think you may be right, surely if Nike sponsor Accy Stanley then they would sponsor Rovers. -

I remember walking out of Elland Road a few years back when Danny Mills scored in the last minute of a league cup tie and nearly putting my fist though a vending machine. -

Sorry to hear that Abbey. I would write a letter of complaint to Rovers and ask for compensation! -
1-1 (Bentley, Sibierski) If Emerton was fit I would have played a 4-5-1 with Bentley sitting behind McCarthy.
