The best striker I suspect recognised by all, even non Rovers supporters will be Shearer and whilst Garner's record of goals is second to none it has to be realised that these were gained in the lower divisions. In a hard fought game Rovers made their way through to the next round of the FA Cup against Colchester when they beat Cardiff City 3-2 in tonight’s FA Cup replay. After taking the lead in the 9th minute through Thompson, Rovers let Cardiff back into the game in the 25th minute when McAnuff equalised for the Bluebirds, before Thompson scored with a bizarre goal just after the half hour mark.
