  1. If he keeps playing like he has for the last 6 weeks then 10 is very doable. Imagine if Kargbo, Dennis and (whisper it) Cantwell start scoring too...
  2. If Cantwell is on the pitch I wouldn't go away from what's worked.
  3. I want to see Leeds United and Sheffield United take the automatic promotion spots. I'd love us to win the Playoffs, but really anyone but Burnley would do. I want that loan house of cards to come crashing down - their fans have been relentless during our down time, I want them to suffer worse. Administration and relegation out of the league, please.
  4. No, but he's in a position of authority - he has to carry himself with a certain integrity. Just look at Mourinho - a far better manager, but everyone knows he's a clown so he's drifted down the leagues.
  5. The thing with Gueye was he was clearly always a bugger to play against - 6'5", strong and didn't shirk a challenge. He's added goals to his game now too to go with his assists. I had to laugh at the WBA player trying to get him sent off last night because he clearly couldn't handle the physical battle - he absolutely bullies CBs. Same as how Beck bullies RW. I've seen multiple RWs visibly quit when playing against Beck.
  6. He's easily been our best player for about 6 weeks.
  7. Exactly. Or, if you're going to lie, tell the SAME lie today to keep your story straight!
  8. I haven't forensically trawled through his comments - I've looked at his last two media interviews. He didn't have to lie. Look at the thread, I don't blame him for going, but he's been duplicitous throughout this process and comes out the other side looking much worse. Ultimately it's all about results on the pitch, so he can still sell that he's a man of character if Derby survive, but he's shown his true colours here.
  9. I almost liked this - but it was Leicester last year and they did not want to lose to us. We pissed on their chips last year, it took the shine off their promotion party.
  10. Over the course of a season with their deeper squads, yes. In a two leg shoot out? Not so much.
  11. Well considering we've played Burnley and Sunderland close this season (should have beaten both) I've no fear. If it was Sheffield United or a motivated Leeds United though I'd be slightly more concerned.
  12. I've no interest in appointing a manager that's dragged his team into a relegation battle, thank you very much.
  13. Our only hope is convincing a stud to sign a 6 month contract until the summer. I don't have a name for you, but someone that could drag us over the line and get us into the Playoffs and potentially up into the Premier League. If we don't get promoted this year I think the future is very bleak indeed and no manager worth their salt will want to be in charge.
  14. I watched the 90 second clip on Twitter, which was edited for the Rovers relevant parts. https://x.com/SkySportsNews/status/1890035654106415424 He comes across very poorly - there's a constant smirk plastered to his face, which breaks out into a full blown grin at the Kidderminster / owners question "Not really". The worst thing is he's now on record as lying. He said after the FA Cup game that he'd heard today (Sunday) about the approach from Derby and he needed to talk to the Board. Obviously today he's just said Derby first approached him on Friday. From one of our board members we know that the approach was made even earlier than that. I hope he takes them down.
  15. It was a bold, although definitely foolish, choice to have Vince McMahon win the rumble.
  16. Even against Wolves - the drop off in quality from Kargbo / Dennis (on debut in England / hasn't played for 9 months) to Dolan / Hedges was stark. He's worked miracles.
  17. The gap was much larger before our tiny squad made us drop all those points in January.
  18. I hope they're both on their way down the M6 as we speak. We don't need any of Eustace's disciples taking the team.
  19. We were a mid-table Premier League club with minimal external funding from the Walker Trust when these clowns took over. Braindead doesn't even begin to cover it.
  20. So what's their end game? Rovers bumping around the bottom of L2?
  21. That public statement is why my seat will now be empty in the Jack Walker Stand. It was beyond amateurish. I found it embarrassing and insulting.
  22. Of course he's leaving for money - our owners refuse to spend any, which is why we've had such bad transfer windows recently and most players contracts have less than 18 months left on them.
  23. To be fair you look at the clubs he played for and Derby seem like world beaters in comparison.
