  1. He's definitely full of his own self importance - accusing the players of having anxiety and not being able to handle the situation (for our 2nd and 3rd goals) is rich. My only complaint about yesterday is I felt at times we sat too deep and invited pressure. They never pushed us back with their style of play (they're simply not good enough - Martin mentioned that they're perhaps missing a player that runs behind when clearly they're missing a Xavi) - we were looking to draw them on for the counter, but a few of those chances in the highlights were a result of them being invited into our half.
  2. He'll score quite a few this season if he's that calm and collected in front of goal. The position he's in will lend itself to those qualities - he'll get his chances.
  3. I worry who our backup RB is (it can't be JRC) and in addition to the above I'd love a LB. Beyond that, yeah I think we'd be there or there abouts in the Playoffs with those additions.
  4. Absolute shocker too. Straight red for rugby tackling a player through on goal. He's still an idiot.
  5. First you promised that wins will be in short supply in the new year, now you're accusing JDT of 'coming off the dole'. Jeez - maybe take a break from the board? Evidently you're struggling to handle the optimism around here.
  6. I'm never getting in that team, so I'll go elsewhere? 😉
  7. I'm very much enjoying the moment - I think Dack being moved on would signal a complete change from the previous regime.
  8. He doesn't have the energy of Vale and Dolan, so I can understand in this situation why he's not called upon. I'm just intrigued that after last week's sulking he's left on the bench again.
  9. JDT and his team have unlocked Travis' attacking potential. He looked quite good going forward before Mowbray tried to turn him into just a midfield destroyer. 2 in 2 and both have been crackers.
  10. Vale and Dolan on for Gallagher and Hedges. You do wonder about Dack...
  11. No, it was a switch in formation.
  12. I'd like to see Phillips on for Pickering now.
  13. We've switched to 3-4-3 with Pickering playing CB and Edun playing LWB.
  14. They're not, we're sitting deep intentionally.
  15. Ayala is genuinely a PL quality CB, he holds everything together at the back. He was my MOTM against QPR and he's playing exceptionally well today too. You just don't get enough games out of him. Lenihan asking for parity with him is laughable.
  16. I love seeing their GK (Fisher, a Rovers Academy graduate) acting like he's Edison. That's going to result in 5+ goals over the course of the season for the opposition.
  17. Could have won a penalty and got Fulton sent off, but I'll settle for a goal instead.
  18. Oh that's such a lovely team goal. We've been setting up that trap all game. Calm finish by Szmodic on his debut - fantastic assist from Hedges too.
  19. It's not a game for the neutrals that's for sure.
  20. It's Gallagher wide right, Brereton wide left, Szmodic and Hedges interchanging in the middle.
  21. Ah, they're one of THOSE teams then. Disgusting tackle by Fulton on Travis.
  22. I'm all for the game being more physical and diving being unrewarded, but that was a dangerous tackle. If someone did that to me or a teammate they'd be seeing stars.
  23. We're looking to sucker Swansea in and hit them on the counter attack. They're wide open for it - I'm just not convinced letting them have the ball 40 yards out with nobody closing them down is the right choice!
  24. Dangerous tackle through the back of the player with no chance of getting the ball - it's a red all day.
  25. Ref has missed a blatant red card on their #10.
