Shaky defence??! You talking about the same Rovers team under Hughes I've been watching? He has gifted three goals this season so far, and counting (Lampard FK, Van Nistelrooy, and Cisse FK). We don't have a wealth of quality keepers in reserve I agree, but they should have looked for a replacement during January, not giving the bloke a new contract. -

Brad is past it, I don't know why they gave him a new contract -

We have been gifted two goals, but I agree we've competed well for half an hour. However much Bellamy was bought for, he is worth it - three quality finishes in two Prem matches. -

1514: GOAL Chelsea 2-0 Blackburn Blackburn's Andy Todd wrestles John Terry to the ground in the box and it is a penalty for the Premiership champions. Frank Lampard makes no mistake as his spot-kick goes one way and Brad Friedel goes the other. 1519: GOAL Chelsea 2-1 Blackburn Zurab Khizanishvili is clipped in the box by Ricardo Carvalho and it is a second penalty at Stamford Bridge - and a third of the day in the Premiership. Like those that have gone before the ball ends up in the back of the net, Craig Bellamy applying the scoring touch. Media bias anyone? -

Flerk off, softest pen I've ever seen! We're playing awfully -
That's the worst possible draw we could have been given. It's a game we're likely to lose without the money making opportunity playing a big club would bring

Supported them since I moved into the area, fifteen years ago. Had supported Oldham previous, but then again when I say supported I was five at the time . Everyone at primary school supported either t'Rovers or Man United, so I chose one and jumped on the bandwagon Had a season ticket since the '99 season, after I managed to convince my Citeh loving dad to tag along to matches . I've not fully converted him, but I'm working on it! -

Mirror Moan Funny, I don't recall the referee blowing up for a foul, and he had a pretty clear view of it if I remember correctly. I do remember Makalele throwing MGP to the ground and Terry grabbing Dickov by the throat After Big Club this is the club I really want to beat. The rivalry we've built up with these two during the past year is quite something. -

I'm going to suggest he's already part of the academy I was glad we didn't miss a beat when Todd replaced the injured Nelsen - I was worried the reason Zura has been looking so good recently is because he's playing next to t'Admiral. Obviously this is not the case and we should sign him up sharpish! For all those complaining about Kuqi, as stated he was free and I'm led to believe he's on club friendly wages. Admittedly he can't hit a barn door with a banjo (not sure why he'd be trying to mind, or what it has to do with his shooting ability ), but he closes down their back four, wins most flick ons, holds up the ball and generally lets their defence know they've been in a game. Dickov never did this, he just fell over and protested when the ref told him to get up for the umpteenth time. Bellamy will thrive on those Kuqi flick ons, assuming he can stay healthy enough . I wonder how much a version of Kuqi who could shoot would be worth? -

I'd like a win from this match, we could certainly use it. Not sure if we're going to get it though, all depends on if Bellers can last for more than 15 minutes and if Brad can stop his transformation into Calamity James, if only for 90 minutes -

Always though Douglas was a decent player - nothing special mind. He'd have been good as a squad player, assuming his contract wasn't too much (not sure how much Souness gave the lad ). Having said that if we can get anything for him I'm all for it! -

We'll be lucky to get a point now -
Or perhaps because Rovers is an English club and therefore Dickov is a foreign player Not that I have anything against the Scots, Irish or the Welsh (as my sister is a national, apparently ). I consider the British Isles as home grown players and support these nations in tournaments - as I assumed most English people did.

The Swede needs to be sacked, he hasn't got a clue -
There's an American called Randy Duck, can't remember which sport he plays though

More to the point when will the dreaded curse upon Rovers strikers end? Damn you Shearer *shakes fist angrily in the direction of Newcastle*

Kuqi would cause that back line more trouble than you think philipl, he's posed questions for every team he's come up against so far and he'll continue to do so against this Liverpool team. I see a draw from this one, with Hughes reverting to a 4-5-1 formation, but as I was wrong with my United prediction I'll probably be wrong with this one Oh and it was Marcus B that broke Baros' foot, not Neill, and it was an innocuous challenge -
He's not a right winger, nor will he ever be which is the reason for his average performances of late. I tell a lie, its due to his lack of work ethic, be it natural or due to the fact he's sulking about being put on the right wing. You'll see a better player once he gets a chance to play in the centre (preferably with Mokoena to give him the freedom to play), which might be sooner than you think given Tugay's and Emerton's recent performances. Fair credit to Hughes, putting pressure on Burt and putting his most talented players out, but the experiment hasn't worked - mainly because the lad doesn't want it to. You'd think I'd be on the back of this lazy, egotistical, me player, but he's a talent and in our situation beggars can't be choosers
