I just think it's a dangerous game for referees to play. Wave away the tackle / protests for a foul, but once you start insisting a player has dived then you've created a rod for your own back. Their player dived to try and win a penalty - we should be furious that he's not on a yellow card too.

It helps that PNE are letting us counter them - it's the only way Mowbray teams know how to attack. Preston are, rather moronically, pushing up the field and letting us in behind them.

I have a City supporting friend who laments that Liverpool get all the favourable media coverage - much like the Utd fan I spoke to on Good Friday, it takes all of my willpower not to slap him. The fact they were sold to one dodgy foreign owner - who went bust and sold them to an even dodgier foreign owner (although considerably wealthier) irritates me beyond belief. They fucked it up and still managed to land on their feet. Meanwhile our owners continue to choke the life out of us.
