  1. Then he's a fool and we're a coach down during the most crucial period of the season. Evidently Isamael hasn't been given the remit that a promotion challenge is a priority.
  2. Toth Brittain Carter Hyam Ribeiro Tronstad Travis Ohashi Cantwell Kargo Gueye — Options off the bench: Dolan, Weimann, Hedges, Cozier-Duberry, Sanderson, Woodrow, JRC, Pears
  3. I think he's quickly running out of 'just don't lose' games. They need to start winning - they're already 4 points from safety and have played a game more than Hull in 21st. They're 7 points off Cardiff in 20th.
  4. Interesting you say that because a large part of their attacking plan was Duffy pinging balls over the top to their runners.
  5. Why is that one more comprehensive than the other two you shared? A different database?
  6. He is, but that's part of the reason many are calling for the removal of VAR. It's not a malicious or dangerous tackle on Chrisene - it's a genuine attempt to get the ball. Yellow card is the correct call, but when you put it in super slow-mo it's a red because sadly that's the modern game.
  7. He's clearly out of form at the moment - that passage of play you highlighted was startling. That said he's clearly working very hard - he was nipping the ball off Norwich players all day and linking up with teammates. He hit a few passes to Kargbo which I think is an outlet he's been crying out for. He's nowhere near as bad as some are making out, but he's also not hit the heights I hoped he'd hit either. He needs a goal I think.
  8. Hughes hasn't been the same since the Taffia left him. They made a great team. The worrying thing about Murray / Rovers is that we have 11 (I think) games left, are in a great position to finish in the Playoff places and we're not pushing for Murray to join up with our staff from Eastbourne. Tells you how serious they're taking this promotion challenge.
  9. All of this negativity and I can only recall Pears making one save.
  10. And this is how you end up with the likes of Dolan and Hedges as your wide options. Multiple times yesterday he sprinted nearly the length of the pitch to snuff out their attacks (one he fluffed with a bad slide tackle), but his job is at the other end. He's clearly willing to defend, but it shouldn't be his priority when he's our only pacey outlet upfront.
  11. What were Travis' stats? Tronstad and Forshaw were playing two different positions yesterday - Forshaw was clearly playing further forward and trying to play progressive passes. Tackles are misleading, especially for CMs. How many tackles did Carrick make in his career? It's mostly about interceptions in that position. Not that I'm trying to say Forshaw is a patch on Tronstad, he's clearly not, but I thought he was solid yesterday. Certainly not the horrific player many have painted him out to be.
  12. I'd kill to have owners that cared and ran us like a football club.
  13. Our set pieces have been creative this season, but the delivery has always been shite.
  14. We need 6 points from Cardiff and Derby without question.
  15. He ran from behind their #19 (across his face). You clearly must have eyes like a hawk to rule that offside in real time.
  16. You can't really high press a team with THAT much pace in their front 3. Get it wrong at any point and they're streaming towards your goal in numbers.
  17. I'm obviously not an ex-professional referee, but I'm never sending a player off for Dennis' first tackle and, if anything, I'm having a word with Chrisene for trying to get a fellow professional sent off for the second challenge. I'm yet to see a replay of the Ohashi foul - obviously all of the scuff marks on the pitch are in the box, but I don't know where the initial foul was made.
  18. They've spent A LOT of money (which they've earned through player sales) - it's why Robbins was sacked. He's an excellent manager at this level, but with the squad they've assembled they should have been pushing for the automatics. They've won 8 out of 9 though so I'm sure they're getting plenty of favourable calls.
  19. Hyam prefers being the junior partner - he never takes command.
  20. I just wouldn't play Dolan, he offers so very little. Not sure how it was a stupid sending off for Dennis - he had every right to go for that ball, it's a 50/50. The ref was clearly gagging to send him off as I'm sure the 4th official had been in his ear that the earlier tackle was a red (it wasn't). I'd love to see the Ohashi foul again - looked like a clear penalty and a yellow card to me (he'd got past both of them - it was a goal scoring opportunity).
