I think Travis is a bit too emotional to be captain right now.
-
It's not even that he's a crook. He's just a shit manager with no connections.
-
He's gone away out on loan and done everything he possibly could - he even won League Two Player of the Month as a CB! He's played nearly 100 professional games, which is a damn sight more than the bloke we're looking to sign from the Polish league (who's the same age btw). He should absolutely be in the mix with the First XI next year. The last thing we want is another O'Connell. I'm biased, but our top Academy players should be given repeated chances to fail for us before we determine that they're not good enough.
-
I said at the time - as soon as we fluffed it against Wigan and Barnsley, the team should have been packed with Academy prospects / young players who will be here next year to see what they're made of. Instead we trundled out the usual suspects. Rank bad management.

He literally won't be at Swansea - didn't realise he was a Chelsea player. What a stranglehold the PL has on English football. "Oh that talented youngster you saw play for a Football League Club? Yeah, they're on loan". -

I can't be the only one that hates the Brentford model. Ditched the Academy (but built a new stadium) and have a foreign legion in a cloggers league. It's not good for the game, but of course nobody cares about that as it's currently successful. -
Yep and then we go and spend £5m on Gallagher or £7m on Brereton. It's criminal how poorly Mowbray has managed the funds he's been given (coming from someone who hates the Rao family).
-
Looking at his history - a Spurs Academy graduate. Loaned out to Yeovil, but they only played him in the EFL Cup. Then went off to Poland. I don't think he's a hidden gem - and he absolutely shouldn't be getting a look in ahead of Wharton.
-
So the owners are the ones who only allow Mowbray to buy players he's worked with in the past? Now that's a plot twist I didn't see coming.

He wasn't at his best, but he was clearly giving it his all. -

Gallagher won't be at Swansea next year. He's the only one that's turned up tonight for them. -

Did Swansea know there's a game tonight? They haven't turned up. -
Like Nigeria sniffing around Saka at the moment.

He was born in London.

The problem with handing the reigns to someone like Damien Johnson is that the only way we're going to progress as a club is by being shrewd in the transfer market. Realistically we need half a team of starters for next season, on the cheap - what experience does Damien Johnson have in the transfer market? Zero, I'd wager.
-
I think after 10 years of crushing disappointment, most fans have given up.
-
Why is he a traitor?
-
They have a footballing model. I dislike that they've scrapped their Academy and they they have a foreign legion in a cloggers league.
-
Our local media have no clue, let's be honest.
-
Except for that stonewall penalty he should have given away. Ref felt guilty for sending off Henry, otherwise it's another Raya clanger.
-
He's simply not a good enough CM if you want to progress as a team. His range of passing / speed of thought isn't enough to make a team tick. Understandable as he's played the majority of his career out wide. He's a steady pro who would be great to have around the team as cover, but that's not what we're paying him (theoretically).
-
Didn't see it with Graham either - just think Mowbray didn't like the style of play Graham's strengths encouraged. Probably also has to do with the fact he's spunked £14m on three strikers in the last two years so was always looking to move Graham on this off-season.

He'll play PL football if Fulham go up. I don't think he's got enough to his game to be a PL player on merit. -

If I was a professional sportsman with a 10 year career, yes. It worked out for him as he went to a better side (albeit in London), but the location of a team wouldn't be a big concern for me. Wages, ambition and promotion prospects are what I'd be concerned about. -
So you're happy with mediocrity then. Good to know.
