  1. I'll never be happy about that transfer. Broke my spirit as a fan.
  2. Well considering he tried to break Yorke's leg in a five a side I can believe that.
  3. Go look at his managerial history. He's been sacked basically everywhere he's been except Barnsley - and often within 12 months.
  4. I hope he takes that sword into the Boardroom with him before he leaves. Only then will I bend the knee.
  5. That would have been impossible to do pre-January. Now it's possible but the guys coming on at 60 minutes are a massive step down from the starters.
  6. I don't think it's anything to do with LCB and RCB. It's when he's the senior CB. He doesn't lead - he needs someone else to organise the defence and tell him what to do. McFadzean and Batth both did it - in those scenarios he looked like the Coventry player we signed.
  7. They'll still be here when we finally turn the lights out. Incredible they've lasted so long.
  8. The lad would be waxing lyrical about Kean if he was appointed as our new manager tomorrow.
  9. Charlotte is an incredibly dull city so I'm sure he fancies a change.
  10. You've put way more thought and effort into it than our Board have.
  11. I suspect the bookies wouldn't pay out when they find out the address of the account was Ewood Park.
  12. The no-show was because Hedges is downright awful, Dolan had one of his 9 in 10 games and Weimann's legs have gone. Obviously Pears throwing one in his own net broke our back.
  13. The problem is these two are the calibre of candidate we can attract (for whatever reason) after 3 games of being managerless. It's a terrifying prospect.
  14. I mean it depends, doesn't it? Okocha, Nolan and co thrived off the second ball (with Kevin Davies invariably winning the knock down / flick on). Cantwell, Weimann, Dolan and Hedges are always just too far away from Gueye when the ball is played up to him. Maybe a new manager will drill into someone like Cantwell that if he drops deep to take the ball off the CBs toes again he'll be training with the reserves.
  15. I mean he can take over officially whenever he wants. As he's driven purely by greed he refuses to do so until the new financial year as it'll mess up his blood money tax returns. Hardly the bloke you're going to run through a wall for.
  16. Remember when we were quite safely tucked away in 5th?
  17. We're willing to pay the going rate for a team operating on a L1 budget. Same with transfers - which is why we're always scraping around the bottom of the barrel to bring players in.
  18. They've sold players for big money and reinvested almost all of it. It's why Robbins got the sack - they should have been challenging for the automatics with how much money they've spent.
