  1. Do we still think Mowbray is a nice guy? I get the feeling he’s actually a bit of a ####.
  2. It was a great day out in the sun, for just a second I thought we were going to Wembley. I hope it’s a good night, I wish I could have gone as he’s one of my favourite recent players, a nice guy and genuinely cares about Rovers. I still remember the excitement on here when we signed him, all the YouTube videos! Seems like a while since we’ve been so excited about a new player coming in! We can forgive for that header, many times I’ve watched I’ve watched the double over Man Ure highlights online and it still brings a smile to my face
  3. He’d get played at left back.
  4. Just playing players in their natural positions would probably help.
  5. He obvious puts the names in a bowl and draws them out randomly.
  6. He’s a positive guy, he probably still thinks we’ve got what it takes to get promote and can still achieve promote this season!
  7. He doesn’t like wingers. If he did buy one he’d play him at full back or upfront.
  8. The frustrating thing is, that with a decent manager we would be in the play offs now. The massive problem is that even if we did get rid of Mowbray, which we need to if we wish to progress, then we’ll probably end up with some random manager who is worse. So we will permanently be stuck as nearly men. Two points from the last three games is not good enough, but that’s what we will get with square peg tombola Tony.
  9. Still a strong team. Hopefully Rothwell and Armstrong can have good games and go at them from the off and provide some service for Super Danny.
  10. Definitely. He’s been immense lately.
  11. Yep, I’ve already ordered a crate of red wine in advance of my winnings
  12. 4-0, Dack first goal. 90/1. Easy money
  13. I agree with Stuart, Tony’s Tombola worked out quite well last time, but I just hope tonight he doesn’t mix it up too much again.
  14. It’s not baffling as such because we know the issue. Our manager is a clueless negative dinosaur.
  15. I feel the same. I’ve got to a point where I no longer get excited for matches. I’ve tried not to let Rovers losing affect my weekend, since it feels like it’s a forgone conclusion at the moment. I last felt like this under that bellend Coyle, I just kind of switched off from the passion I used to have. In League One I started to get that passion back, but it took most of the season for me to actually celebrate a goal like I used to, before the dark times, before the Venky’s. Though I never fully regained that passion, once upon a time, no matter where I were, a Rovers goal would have me jumping up and down and shouting like an idiot. These days I manage a smile and a subdued “yay”, I just feel indifferent again and all the good vibes I have from that excellent league one season have gone. My Rovers are ruined, back in the day we’d know that the powers that be would make changes, usually for the better of the club. Now I feel we are damned if we do, damned if we don’t. They’ll either keep Mowbray in charge or they’ll replace him with some other clown like Coyle. I wouldn’t mind if were just rubbish, if we showed some passion. We’ve got half decent players, that just play rubbish. I just want some blood and thunder, not this. It’s awful to watch and depressing.
  16. He won’t go anywhere until we are down the bottom of the table. Isn’t his mate the chairman? He won’t resign either, as in his deluded thick head he probably thinks he’s doing nothing wrong. We can see before every match where he’s going wrong with his stupid team selections.
  17. I’d rather have J Lo in charge to be honest. At least she’s good at the back! ?
  18. That’s a cop out. The referee wasn’t great, but despite that we should be winning that game. (His favourite)Square pegs in round holes again and piss poor subs. It’s down to the manager. Yet again.
  19. Don’t worry, they are probably on the phone to Steve Kean as we speak.
  20. Probably too positive a line up having him, Travis and Rothwell on the pitch.
  21. They’ll be sat on their yachts not giving a toss...
  22. Quite right. If Lambert has been given the money Mowbray had, then who knows where we’d be. Apologies for the bad language, just so fed up of this every weekend.
  23. I agree, but who the eff knows who’d they pick after quite recently choosing Owen bloody Coyle. it shouldn’t be this much of a gamble. The manager has got to go, but we could end up with worse and end up in league one again with these muppets owning us. The Walker trust fucked us over big time and shat all over Jack’s legacy.
  24. And Mowbray will play him every week. Such is his love affair with him. Making him captain was a bad idea.
