Gallagher has a one-year extension option also.
-
Doing that work will make him a better player still, but he's already the best in the midfield. I hope for being guided to the PL this season, but I think that ship will sail. We would have lost less ground if we had played Adam more though, I'm confident of that.
-
He doesn't need waking up, he's already the best midfielder we have.

Burnley had massive turnover of players too. Didn't turn out too badly for them. -

I look at the teams at risk of going down, and I really, really want to get out of this league this year. If say, Everton were to go down, for me that's one of the promotion spots gone right away, their resources are too strong for this league regardless how they're playing currently in a better league. Most of the others have been established up there for a long time too. Could be a tough ole' year. -
Yes well obviously it's not technically up to him (although in practice player power tells when someone insists they want out), but that wasn't the discussion. It was more about whether it would be best for him to stay or go.
-
So the manager barely plays him, but he should stay here? Again you're not actually giving any counter-argument Chaddy, you're just insisting he should stay without any reason. Yes, moving clubs can go wrong, it can also go right. You mentioned Connor Mahoney, well I could say look at Jack O'Connell. You say look at Jack Clarke, I could say look at Jude Bellingham. Patrick Roberts, ok, but also Harvey Elliott.
-
Being a Rovers fan and his brother being here should help, yes, but being a Rovers fan certainly didn't stop Phil Jones moving at the first opportunity. You've no idea if it would be unwise. Connor Mahoney wasn't half the player Wharton is. It could be the making of his career. Currently, the manager here is showing an inadequate amount of faith in him relative to his ability and the ability of those he's in competition with. Going to a Prem club, being loaned to a Championship club, could see him earn a lot more game time rather than less. Like say, Morton has. I'm not saying he should go, just saying it certainly isn't as cut and dry as you make it sound.
-
Why should he stay here though? I've just said he'll likely be loaned out if he goes there, to another Championship club, where he would play (maybe more than he's playing here, which isn't a lot) and develop. Whilst earning a bigger wage. So why should he stay here, other than that we'd like him to?
-
They'd probably loan him out to a Championship side where he would play plenty. If he impressed enough, which I've no doubt he would, he'd then potentially get a shot in their first team.
-
One of those is West Ham though, third from bottom. Also depends how many Premier League players they decide to drop down to get them over the line, like with Moura yesterday.

3 goals this season in 26 games. Even adjusted for minutes rather than games, he has a worse goals ratio this season than Gally. Has had a couple of much better seasons in the past, but recent form doesn't suggest he's the answer. At the right price I'd take a punt though, still only 25. -

Zero possibility we have the money for Gyokeres unless we get promoted. I do mean zero. -
I think his point was more that the same foul outside the box, they'll give a red, but put it inside the box and they'll give a penalty and a yellow. I'm sure Rigger will correct me if that's not what he was getting at.

One off game and he'd have gone back to Morton. He really rates that lad for reasons I can't fathom. -

As Wharton demonstrates, being much further ahead in your development than Morton doesn't get you in the team ahead of Morton. So Buckley being injured probably hasn't made a ton of difference. Wharton is the best of the 3 for me. -

Hilariously poor post. Can't even be arsed to explain why, I'll leave you to it. In your sad little mind that's probably a win for you, so enjoy it. -

Other players who have done far more over the season than him being out of form doesn't make Gally any deadlier. He is also playing poorly. So I'll repeat the question, what is it about Gally's performances recently that makes you feel he should start? Was it when he dicked up that inviting ball over the top? When he fell over in the box for no reason waiting for a cross? The way he looks clearly unfit and you could see it in his face when he came off? Or something I've missed? -

Yeh nothing more relaxing than pissing away our easiest remaining game during a playoff chase. Thanks again for your great advice. What a good time to come trolling your fellow Rovers fans while they're in pain too. They'd like you over at Turd Moor. -

Not sure what you're driving at there mate. If his eyes suggested Gally should start the next game, he needs to go to Specsavers. If you think he was being sarcastic, nothing about his post suggests that. The 'my eyes' suggests it was painful to watch, and Gally played nearly all of it. Badly. -

Apart from Gussets, who suggested that since JDT won the Champions League as a player, his managerial expertise is infallible. -

What was it about Gallagher's performance tonight that makes you think he should start the next game? -

All that huffing and puffing, and we managed 2 shots on target. A poor Hull side managed 3. -

Wind ups?!? Yours is the wind up! People are pissed off after we have thrown away the most presentable 3 points we had left. We are Rovers fans, we're not posting criticism to wind up other Rovers fans, we're posting it because we are extremely frustrated, and it's not without reason. If you don't agree with it fine, but saying others are on the windup cos they're annoyed is the real provocation.
