The second was genuinely brilliant. The best I've ever seen him make, one of the best saves from the last few seasons. But there's no doubt his handling was terrible for the first. It's a bit of a concern to me that he palmed it into a danger area, which is exactly Leo's biggest weakness. Hope that part was a one off and the second save becomes the norm. But on balance I still think we're in dire need of a better keeper.

Let's be honest, the first one of that double save wasn't superb at all. In fact it was pretty shit and the entire reason he needed to do the second save - which was genuinely a fantastic one.

Except for when he got injured again, spent over 3 months out and has only just returned. Last season that statement would have been true though. Now I'm back to having concerns he could go at any time. He's become a very good player for us so it's a worry.

Did you watch the highlights? Ipswich were unlucky tbh. They hit the woodwork I think three times, their keeper played a blinder, and Maidstone only had two shots all game, which they put away (one of them was a very good finish). Just one of those once in a half a century convergences of factors and fortune. Literally once in a half century, a team from that level hasn't progressed to the 5th round since the 70s.

Having a megastar Hollywood owner and another fairly famous Hollywood owner helps all that though. They don't have to put much in because their owners already have profile and understand showmanship. It would take much more effort here, and of course we also lack the competence. I'm really, really fucking glad there isn't a documentary following BRFC, it would be highly embarassing under this lot. It wouldn't sell tickets and shirts, probably the opposite. Although with the conceivable advantage that the humiliation might shame Venkys into selling, which would make it worthwhile.

Garrett had a bad game, but he's definitely at or near the necessary level for me. You know he's actually our joint third top scorer despite barely playing and being a midfielder? He still has some learning to do but he's a decent player with room to grow. When it clicks for him he'll be very decent at this level. But yeh he was off the boil today. Poor, totally at fault for the Wrexham goal. Still put himself about though and had an important role in our equaliser.

We were 1-0 down until 32 minutes, so I can't agree with that. As well as having witnessed that after they scored we were awful until about a minute before we equalised. In fact we were on top for most of the first 20 minutes, it was between 20-30 that we were shite. After that they were never in it.

I didn't hear it but I've heard some incredibly biased club commentary on ifollow before (yes on dodgy streams). One really stood out, but I can't remember who...but I strongly want to say it was Swansea or Cardiff, I'm sure it was another Welsh voice I was hearing. I think there might be a bit of extra pride and bias when they play English teams maybe?

He also had the most anonymous passes and most maligned performance.

I wouldn't even say that myself, and I'd have to be counted as a Pears critic. I'd say a better keeper like Kaminski might save it, probably about 30% of the time. Mostly from having a longer reach though.

That's literally the opposite of how it went? We started well, could have been 2 or 3 up before we let them score a sloppy goal from our end. Then we looked awful for ages, until about a minute before scoring. Although we did well since then, if that's the goal you meant we responded well to?
