Nice one. I went down to the ticket office on Monday morning to give 8 applications in. 5 who went to Salzburg, 3 Season ticket holders. The bloke behind the counter said he couldnt promise the season ticket holders would get tickets. I questioned this and his reply was that they had had over 2000 applications already! There is going to be one hell of a following out there.

I got back on Friday night, had a great time. The days at the venues, Frankfurt, Nurembug, Koln, Stuttgart & Gelsenkirchen where excellent. Good atmosphere all round, no trouble, good ale, good banter. I've got to say though I found all of Englands games boring. The atmosphere in the grounds wasnt as good, as can be, there was no spark from England. I have to blame FIFA, the German public, Sven, and the players for this. I also went to the Semi in Munich, France Vs Portugal. Again atmosphere was ok, but I found the venues to be too full of supporters who had nothing to do with the two teams playing, this ruinied it for me. Both participating teams had official ticket areas in two opposite corners of the ground. It is wrong.

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on the friendly meant to be in Holland on Saturday 5th August against Alemannia Aachen. The official site this will be played in Germany, in Aachen, Is this correct ? Looking at doing a day trip.

I got to the ground earlier than normal as it is normally chaotic when England play. Got in like a breeze, no problems at all, only had my ticket checked once. From what I gather, when you scan your ticket at the gate it dispays your date of birth and sex and thats all. They are able to access more info if required. I was talking to a couple of lads who had jumped the fences and got in easily. They where sat above Posh spice and Abramovich! Class.
