  1. Think loan player could be the young lad from Germany.
  2. Decent side, but Rothwell better on bench away from home, think I would put Armstrong on wing and Holtby behind Graham.
  3. 3 club rule, he’s going to have to stick around Ewood this season.
  4. Peterborough have accepted a bid from Charlton Athletic for Marcus Maddison. (via @DMAC102)
  5. Only saw it on Wolves TV, but thought we played well, Lyons looks a good prospect and Hilton excellent. Did you spot Joey Barton watching, Fleetwood staying at the hotel there, as they were playing Burton on Saturday.
  6. Would you be happy with Martin Olsen coming back, short term contract?
  7. Didn’t know Scott Sellars was their manager........
  8. Google Wolves TV,register, and watch, 2 mins to register
  9. U/23s 1 up at Wolves, free on Wolves TV
  10. Yep you’re right ? Rovers official who told me obviously read it wrong, that’s life, you can’t beat a good rumour, makes the world go round.
  11. More his loan manager than agent I believe.
  12. Was told off a pretty high up Rovers official, so he must have made it up. Only passing on gossip that I have heard if you don’t want to hear rumours on this M/B why bother coming on. TM says a lot of things some true some not and I’m a big fan of his, just respect other people’s views/ rumours without being offensive.
  13. If the source came from someone insignificant I’d agree, juicy gossip, but the Tosin rumour came from a respected Rovers official who you would expect to know what’s going on. The Dack to WBA came from a member of Wigan’s coaching team who has very good Rovers connections, but what’s happened to Dack since, it doesn’t really matter.
  14. Disappointing game, but at least we got a point, hopefully get 4 points next two games, the most disturbing news is what a Rovers official told me, is that Tosin is not injured and his agent is refusing to let him play, can only assume he’s either going back to City or going out on loan to a bigger club and they don’t want him injured, was also told that Dack was being lined up for a big transfer to West Brom in January, which obviously will now not happen.
  15. How you do know it wasn’t important, of course he wanted to win it, just didn’t happen, do you know of anybody giving Dalglish stick for coming sixth, no you don’t, just stupid arguments, we wanted promotion, end of, and if we won it, a bonus.
  16. Ask the question to any Sunderland fan, think it might be promotion, end of, and whether it’s first, second or through the play offs they couldn’t care less. Don’t think TM got enough credit for getting back first time, plenty of clubs took years to get back.
  17. Great result, and anyone who picks the starting line up against Wigan can have anything off the bottom shelf. Think he might give Bell another chance with Downing in front of him, obviously Dack back in and recall Evans and possibly DG for Gallagher. But knowing TM it could be anything, good that we finally have a lot of options....
  18. Well if you had watched 90 mins you would find that’s not the case, how you can tell from a 2 min clip is unbelievable.
  19. You’ve obviously not been in blues bar for a while, food is reasonably priced, match day experience is really buzzing, but hardly anyone goes in during the week, seems pretty sensible to only open on match days and functions. Its also been fully refurbished to a high standard and looks very well. Also told that plans are afoot to refurbish the Darwen end lounge and open as a Mediterranean restaurant opening every day. The concourses have been revamped and they are refurbishing all the lounges. The person telling me this is very much involved in the club who said they have realised that not much has been done in the last 25 years to upgrade everything as the ground is getting a little tired. Believe also a soft drinks bar ( no alcohol) is also in the pipeline in one of the smaller lounges. This is all done as a joint venture with Rovers and the new catering partner Sodexo. And believe it or not the plans are still there re the riverside stand inc a hotel, but that is definitely only going to happen if we return to the premier league. Going back to Blues bar, the atmosphere on match days is brilliant, before and after the game and many times you struggle to get in because it’s packed. Understand you going on about Stanley, but you can’t compare the two clubs and facilities , overheads etc. Personally think the management deserves a little credit instead of negative stuff.
  20. Fair play to TM who picked a side to do a job on Brentford and did it well, as they are the form side in this division. Thought all the players were really up for it with determination, tackling and pressing, with some excellent moves on and off the ball. Hopefully we can play the same side on Saturday and just do the same, and get a result against Stoke. Brave of the manager to select Evans who had a decent game, don’t think many fans would have played him, but apart from a couple of slips in the second half he did a good job. Rothwell seems to be getting the message, more direct with an end product of decent passing in the danger area, but should have scored with the one on one with Raya, but deserved MOM. Looks like Nyambe has got his R/b spot back, looked very assured, hope he’s fit for Sat. Even though Brentford had more possession, thought we played some really good football and deserved the win, hopefully found a blend and sticks to it, but you can never second guess TM, hopefully plays same again and see where it takes us.
  21. Think obviously because they are top of form table as you know, won 5/6 is pretty decent in this league, just wondering what the web site should say, (we are going to hammer them) (should win easily) what do you realistically think they should say, knowing it’s going to be a tough game. They are a very decent side especially away from home, but we aren’t too bad at home, should be a close game.
  22. Wether you want to stick with TM or get rid, some of the abuse aimed at him is pathetic, whatever people think,he has done a very good job and deserves respect, like he says says, if folk want him out he will walk. The problem is the replacement, with the owners we have, they expect the manager to go to Pune twice a year, not sure some of the names banded about would do that. If results do not go to plan I hope he doesn’t get bombed out by the supporters but walks himself, heard on the grapevine that Gareth Ainsworth would jump at the chance and he would be my choice, young and hungry and would probably fit into the Venkys way. Still hope we win Wednesday and every game, not like some so called supporters hoping we lose just to get rid of him.
  23. Think Nyambe will be back, 4 flights to get back last week from international duty, more jet lag than ill, tough game, settle for 4 points from next 2 games,
