No, you’ve read it wrong, Rangers goalie is plan B or as a second goalie, first choice is the unknown plan A, quite a few thinking Carson, but could be anybody ?

Still think no 1 choice be announced, or plan B the lad at Rangers, or even both.

Just don’t think Foderingham would like to be a no 2 again, like it’s been said,can see if no 1 target doesn’t happen he would be plan B, Mowbray saying an experienced one and a young one, both Carson and Foderingham not exactly young, but would be happy if both signed.

With Damian Johnson now on board with first team, think it will be 3 at the back.

Yep, you said we haven’t any money again, anyway you can’t say we haven’t spent just because we cashed in on Raya, it’s like saying Brentford haven’t spent, but they cashed in big style on sales, so they could spend on new players, and you seemed to think they were being smart. Wouldnt bother me if he wheels/ deals and doesn’t spend millions, as long as the team is stronger than last season. If a quality experienced C/B comes in on loan and a good keeper on a free, if they improve the team, no problem.

If he’s got the name right, seemed confident he has, so you could be right.

How do you know we won’t spend money because we’ve bought Gallagher, you said we wouldn’t spend a few mil on anyone this window, but we did, you said there was no money before we bought Bereton, there was, like your recent post says, , let’s see what happens when the window shuts, then we can make our minds up.

Just because we haven’t signed someone from abroad,doesn’t mean we haven’t looked. It’s not just the skill factor when signing a player, you have to take in other factors, will he fit in with the current players, relocation to another country,moving family,etc, sometimes when you haven’t got a big budget it’s safer to get someone you know a little about, and if that means signing British,so be it. Re signing anyone from Burnley, if it improved the team I couldn’t care a toss, if a decent G/K and defender arrive along with the expectation of Gallagher, I would think it’s a decent window and an improvement on last season.

Obviously referring to Bauer situation,again, think the jouno was saying that the Preston manager said he would start as one of the back 4 and Mowbray said he would have to fight for his place, not quite a guaranteed place promised, as we all know that can never happen.

Respect your views, but certainly don’t agree with the crosses and command of his box, Mowbray and all the coaching staff inc Benson must have tried to sort out for a long time, and obviously realised that it was a big problem and we move on with someone who hopefully can command his box. I was a big fan of Raya, but it was obviously a major flaw which he hasn’t been able to rectify and personally don’t think any G/k coach could have rectified it.

What do you want him to say, we want to sign a crap goalie, he’s said what most normal fans have thought, Raya was a great shot stopper, very agile but useless on crossed, so he wants someone who can command his area, nothing to do with Benson, it’s built in a goalie re crosses, you either have it or you don’t and Raya was weak in that area. Why don’t you wait to see who he brings in before making your mind up, but the problem is whatever Mowbray says or does you will not agree, due to your dislike of him.

Good post and info,hope your information is right, personally not bothered if goalie/ defender is loan,freebie or fee as long as they are an improvement in the squad.Got to trust the manager on arrivals and departures,and if we have to wheel and deal to improve,so be it, should be an interesting week.
