  1. And you’re very much entitled to your opinion, the reason I will be there is slightly different. 1.. I’m a Rovers supporter,thick/thin.
  2. Yeah, would have been crazy, wonder if it’s getting mixed up with a penalty shoot out, when occasionally a goalie saves and The ball balloons up in the air, goalie walks away then it comes down and bounces in the goal, which under current rules the goal stands, might be in future, once goalie saves it becomes dead.
  3. Don’t knowwhere the penalty one came from, but it’s not happening.
  4. He is indeed a season ticket holder at Rovers in fact has a box and all his family come, and goes to a lot of away games, think his wife is a big Rovers fan, was a non exc director at Bolton and his father in law at Bpool( fell out with Oysten) a really nice guy, be interesting if he’s at the next Rovers home game now he’s involved with Bpool.
  5. I've already pointed out that in my experience Stanley is an easier day out thanRovers in terms of getting into the ground, parking, getting away after, better food and drink etc. Now come on, I know Stanley are doing a great job on very limited resources, but it’s pretty obvious it’s easier to get in and out the ground, parking etc than Ewood, their last home crowd was 2400 ( I know some matches are boosted with away support to 5000). We ain’t getting mega crowds at Ewood but it’s obviously quite a lot more than them so consequently not as easy to get in the ground and getting away.
  6. Agree, think Butterworth is the next youngster to be bloodied, looks very sharp, and. Buckley not far behind.
  7. Yeah spot on as usual.?
  8. Agreed, looks as if the big German from Charlton is a nailed on transfer in the summer.
  9. Not overlooked down where the academy is.
  10. Mainly because the training pitches are overlooked by houses, those watching can name the team Friday morning, more secure down at the bottom of Brockhall
  11. I’m sure he will be here,in 12 months, the owners are trusting him to change things round at Brockhall, TM wants to swap round the senior training centre and the academy back to what it was before Mark Hughes changed it, tenders gone out and being done in 3 stages, don’t think they would be doing that if they weren’t sure about him.
  12. Have I ever stopped you having an opinion, think you certainly give your opinion at every opportunity, and less of the sarcasm re becoming an adult, if I come out with those comments they seem to jump on me from a great height, it’s all about opinions and I think a hell of a lot rate him, but we are all allowed our own opinions.
  13. Spot on, think there could be some decent signings in the summer and really hope TM is doing the signings, don’t think with our budget there is a better manager, time will tell, fingers crossed, patience and slowly move forward.
  14. Hey don’t feel a shame for me,what manager would you like, realistically, we’re are not Liverpool, City, United etc, we’re Rovers just trying to get back to where we were, not easy as a lot of big clubs have found out, Leeds,Sheffield clubs etc. Luckily the-owners seem to like what he’s doing and that he is hopefully the guy to push on next season, think most fans agree but there are a few who don’t and never will support him, like you, your choice.
  15. Think Mowbray is one of the best managers we’ve had, lovely guy and very knowledgeable, knows the game inside out, obviously doesn’t always get it right, very loyal this season to the players who got us up but realises we need new blood next season. A shame a lot of posters on here don’t want to give him time, luckily they don’t make the decisions. He knows what he wants next season and I hope he gets the backing, and let’s go for it next season with him in charge.
  16. Are you for real, well it’s a good job you’re not in charge, we are probably the most normal, the club has been in years, back in championship first time round, consolidation this season, and hopefully push on next, and if we don’t then look at the situation, just can’t believe there’s a poll discussing the manager.
  17. Ok, but think I’ll be more realistic, club is slowly being run better, if you think we can just go straight up fair enough, you’re not on your own, plenty think like you. We aren’t ready yet for the premier, like I’ve said patience is the game, hopefully next season with 2/3 acquisitions we can push on.
  18. Understand perfectly thank you, also understand we’ve just come from lower league, and people will have to be patient.
  19. And last month won 4 in a row, manager of the month, Armstrong player of the month.
  20. Well done Rovers, last 6 homes games £99, good value, along with ‘Boro game taking a friend for £10.
  21. Lenihan out for at least two weeks.
  22. Appreciate the constructive criticism on here, but can’t understand the mass hysteria every time we get beat. Think most fans and indeed T M thought this season was consolidation, and I think that’s where we are at the moment and hopefully mid table in May will be a decent season. There are many teams in this division who can beat each other, and I think Rovers will have to bide their time before ready for promotion. We have lost 1 game in the last 5 winning 4, we are higher than both Wigan/Rotherham who came up with us. Higher than both near neighbours Bolton/Preston, higher than Swansea/Stoke who both came down from premiership, complete with parachute payments. On a par with Villa/Hull etc. Like someone has said our problem is when we lose Graham,Dack,we implode, desperately need another Danny Graham but ,like TM has said, probably have to go abroad in the summer because the price here is too much. Going 3 games without conceding not many were saying defence is rubbish, lose 1 heavily and we are rubbish, think it’s more game management than personnel, when we lose 2/3 injured, case of regrouping and right subs. Think overall,TM and management doing a very good job, always room for improvement but it’s a pretty good season so far.
  23. Just told you what Waggot does, and you never mention anything, only the things you don’t like, like Ive said Waggot and Mowbray have turned the club round, let’s hope it continues.
  24. Here we go again, you’re basically sick of anyone who disagrees with what you say, few more coming on here tonight who’s sick of hearing the same old from you, and others, I know you’ve 11,000 plus posts, it’s like you just want to shout everybody down and hope they go away.
  25. Who do you think negotiates the transfers, who sorts out the extended contracts, who gets the nod off Mowbray and player recruitment guy/scouts and then try and make it happen, who speaks with owners to try and persuade them to come up with the money, and a small detail last Sat who decided to push the QPR fans as far away as possible from the pitch, also who, with Greg Coar, marketing guy, gets all these extra sponsors to bring in extra revenue. Who the hell pays for all these contracts/transfers, could understand if we are top of league for season ticket prices, but we are somewhere in the middle. All I here is surcharges on match days, which were already in place before he came, booting fans out the Darwen end, which I agree with and today half season ticket prices, saying they are too dear, It’s a football club,a business it’s not a charity. So far think he’s doing a decent job, best since Williams, interacts with fans as well. Him and Mowbray have turned the club round, and touch wood, hopefully the owners look like they actually trust them, which hasn’t happened for a long time, just can’t understand people saying otherwise after the complete dross we’ve had over the last few years. Btw, you even got a decent firework display on Sat, can’t remember that happening before.
