  1. I don’t expect anyone to behave in the same way, just my personal views, and I don’t get frustrated but I think others do, everyone allowed an opinion.
  2. Do you actually read my posts? I’ve never actually said trust Mowbray, just thinking he’s doing a decent job, and you say if I disagree say why, I’ve said on numerous occasions why, mainly he knows and works with the players every day, knows who’s doing it in training, who’s carrying niggles, knows the opposition etc. Said all that earlier, and don’t say Im playing the victim, I have my views and you and others have different views, I’m not hounding anyone more the other way round.
  3. Think quite a lot confuses you.
  4. Here we go again, when Ive mentioned on here we need to get behind Mowbray, all I get back is 99% back him, certainly doesn’t seem the case, think you’ve hit the nail on the head re Matt Busby, quite a few are living in a time warp. When he was managing that’s what you did, best 11 same team every week, best team wins, times have changed and Mowbray luckily has moved on, along with a lot of other managers, Coyle etc haven’t, don’t think you and Mercer have as well, but we all have different opinions and that makes the world go round.
  5. I didn’t say I thought the team was wrong,I said he surprises us all, big difference but like I said he’s usually proved right, why should I post before the game when he knows better than me, now how does that confuse you, seen loads of comments before the game on here and also at the ground before the game thinking they all know better than the manager, but usually after the game they have changed their mind.
  6. Yeah you’ve told me Mowbray is a steady Eddie but not the man to take us forward, and you’re bulling up Coyle, the world has officially gone mad.
  7. Why am I on a message board to discuss Rovers, are you for real, very sorry for putting my view on here, I better stay off and leave it to you!!!! BTW just before I go, Coyle knows more than we do, that is very debatable, his idea of tactics was playing table tennis at Brockhall.
  8. Pretty clear why, we got a point should have been 3, think if we had gone 442 with 2 up top, we would have got beat, IMO of course, I just think Mowbray knows a lot more than me and most fans, he works 5/6 days a week with the players, he knows who’s doing it training, who’s carrying niggles, and crucially analysed the opposition who had done serious damage to most teams at home, like Ive said previously someone like Coyle who was useless compared to TM would have got beat, don’t think we will see a lot of games playing no strikers, but he will do what he thinks right depending on the opposition.
  9. He hasn’t started with no strikers before, I know he’s done near end of matches, and re he didn’t play for a point, did you go to the match better team all round and they have give some teams some good hidings at home this season, you obviously don’t agree with the manager, no problem with that, all a matter of opinions.
  10. Good post, but regarding not playing a striker think that’s the only game he’s done so don’t think it will be a regular occurrence. Like it or not TM is a complete different manager than the last one, thankfully, ok he does tinker every week with the team he picks, but to me he is a very astute manager, I, like a lot of fans see the team news at 2 00 on a Sat thinking, wow he’s dropped so a so, but unlike many fans never criticise him till the game is played, and more often than not he’s proved right. Going back to Coyle, he religiously played 4 4 2 every game not just at Rovers but all the teams he’s managed, he could never change to another system, the opposition must have been rubbing their hands playing us because they knew exactly how we were going to play and also which players were going to be used, and usually beat us. With TM nobody knows what system, players etc are going to play, he keeps his cards to his chest and gives nothing away, he can change to any system, different players etc and going back to yesterday’s game their manager wouldn’t have had a clue we were going to play that team, and it paid off got a point deserved 3. This not playing a striker is nothing new,a lot of the top clubs do it now and again, and it does work if done now and again, TM obviously saw what WBA were doing to most teams at home, except for last Wednesday, they were banging goals in for fun, but he didn’t set up for a point he wanted to win,and played well enough to, the only time they didn’t go for a goal was the last 15 mins for obvious reasons.
  11. Probably because he doesn’t agree.
  12. Very true,we certainly weren’t going to score after Raya went off,but the effort unbelievable, like 11 Colin Hendrys, lol.
  13. Yeah agree re Conway, been a brilliant servant to the club, think we have better players now, Rothwell Palmer and like you say, stick Brereton in there, he’s quick and hopefully he’ll come off, still a big believer in the manager, and think eventually when the injuries calm down he will have a more settled side.
  14. Exactly, terrific game to watch, we might not have the best side in the league, but they are all diehards, think we deserved a win today.
  15. A little better news than at first thought, thanks for the update.
  16. What a strange comment, that’s a big insult to all the Rovers players, regardless of who TM picks, you can be sure they are all committed to the shirt and every one who has played this season has a huge heart, but according to you we only have Reed. In fact I would say this bunch of players have the biggest hearts of any Rovers team for a long time, all down to the manager in my opinion.
  17. Thought he was man of the match by a mile, definitely best central midfielder we have.
  18. Honest answer, obviously different view than me, think a lot of managers over complicates things, but to get us out of league 1 first time regardless of our resources, and to have a steady start this season, similar to Shef Unt, he’s done pretty good.
  19. Don’t think anyone is comparing him to Lowe, you could all be right he could end up as a rubbish signing, just think it’s early doors to make any judgement, and why should Mowbray give the green light to sign him, too many people made their minds up already, time will tell.
  20. Yeah you’re right, can’t beat a good debate, different views but all want Rovers to be back where we belong, just gets to me with quite a few on here giving Mowbray stick when I don’t think he deserves it, in my humble opinion of course.
  21. Ha ha say what I feel, I always have done, got me a 48 hr ban last week.
