It was sorted out weeks ago, with the lad from Brighton , finances sorted with Brighton then the lad has changed his mind and wants to fight for his place, that’s what happens, nothing we could do,just move on to the next target .

I never got a name, assumed it could be him, all I was told someone is flying in from France tomorrow for a medical from someone from the club who certainly should know what’s going on.

I wouldn’t be surprised, took nigh on 3 years for Walker trust to find someone when we were only £20 mil in debt. Yes a very sensible post, you can’t make players sign a contract unless you offer stupid money, which we won’t/ can’t do these days, which is the right decision, the amount of fans saying we’ve screwed up on Brereton is laughable, especially when 80% of fans would have given him away for free not long ago.

Different clubs have different turnovers and our wage to turnover over is frightening, 14.5 ml turnover to 26 ml wages, I know some on here don’t believe in FFP and sanctions, and it’s going to harder with turnover/ wages to go to 70% in next 3 years, how’s that going to happen.

Think another 3/4 decent signings will be ok, Sharp from the LT got it right, signing 6/7 new signings plus Dack, Markanday who couldn’t play last season plus Vale and the academy lads Philips, A Wharton. Garret can step up. For some bizarre reason you do not recognise FFP and never have done, thankful the new management know we have to develop the kids and either use them or sell for decent money. Most people know next season it’s 90% wages to turnover and 2 years after 70%, we have to comply, your strategy is sh#t or bust.
