Think most things re Rovers irritates you, you me and anyone on here don’t know what we offered them, most people think Lenihan was offered a good deal, but how far do you go. Same with Nyambe how much was he offered, we don’t know. So how can you bang on about it being enough. If Rovers thought Nyambe was worth £12000 and his agent thought he’s worth £20000 what do we do, just give it him. You’re on about Stoke/ Boro it used to be Derby, we’ve seen what happened there, Stoke look like losing a player they want to sign an extension but he’s run his contract down and wants out. That’s football, let’s see who we sign instead of all this doom and gloom. Enjoyed the couple of weeks on here when new DOF and manager arrived, but back to normal business now. Enjoy the season..

Yeah they could break their wage structure and offer silly money, we are trying to get our wage to turnover down, in the next few years it has to get down to 70% of turnover, not sure how it’s going to be done.

Totally agree, but the point I am saying if we have tried to renew, say Breretons contract last year and he won’t there’s nothing we can do, and if doesn’t want to move, again nothing we can do, it’s the folk on here saying we haven’t done anything when they haven’t a clue what’s been said

Short memory, this MB was awash with folk slagging him off, when it was tough going with plenty saying get rid. The problem is you think we can sign everybody on 4 year contracts and then renew every 2 years, you don’t seem to care about FFP, if nothing happens you think there hasn’t even been contact to renew, if players don’t want to commit there’s not much we can do about it. It happens at all clubs, even Stoke who you seem to compare with us. They want Joe Allen to renew but he’s run his contract down and is leaving. We all need to criticise the club when needs be, but relentless criticism when we don’t have the full facts is wrong IMO.

Not saying we are run well, my point is you were saying we should be run like Derby, you got that one wrong, now saying we should be run like ‘Boro who probably are sailing close to the wind with FFP, I’ll wait till end of transfer window and see where we are before making any predictions.

Massive Rangers fan was “thin Birdy” but also big Rovers fan and an absolute nutter, went on a few coach trips with him on board, always ended a bit messy.

Oh yes they have, one only this afternoon saying he doesn’t feel he can part with his money with the calibre of candidates on offer, even though no one actually knows anything, 1 guy last week waiting with his 2 daughters to see the name and if not up to his standard none of them will be going. No problem, everyone supports the club differently, I’ll support them as I like, criticise when I want but I certainly don’t make decisions on buying a season ticket on the whims of rumours on here.

Some good points, and yes we needed to get the season tickets at more reasonable prices, to entice the doubters, but my main gripe is fans on here saying they might give it a miss because of the calibre of candidates, when no one has a clue who these supposedly 3 candidates are, folk just going off ITK on here, even most of the journalists haven’t a clue and like I said whoever gets it we won’t know if it’s a success until well into the season.

Totally disagree, like you said supporting a football club is very different to everything else, it’s in the blood, all this crap about superfan etc does my head in, nobody should wait to see who the manager is before committing because whoever it it is could be a success or a total failure. Ask Birdie if he’s waiting for a new manager before he renews, he’d look at you like you’re from a different planet. Like I’ve said before,Forest signed up Hughton thought what an appointment,turned out a disaster, got Cooper in everything turned found. All clubs are the same, a percentage who supports through thick and thin and the rest who thinks that they know which manager should be appointed before committing, at least I can say I’ve watched everything from bang average, crap and the sublime , not just jumped in different seasons when it’s going well..

Why does everyone believe who’s in the frame because it’s said on here, no one has a clue we are going to appoint, let’s wait and see. And why it depends on who we get as manager before committing to a season ticket is crazy. The last 2 managers appointed were names out the blue.

No, anyone who cares about Rovers SHOULD be buying a season ticket regardless of who the CEO is, or the the manager or indeed the owners, end of!!!!

Top couple of inches,removed, been reseeded and already green, as per every season, difference this season is both goal mouths been stitched/weaved for harder wearing.

So how do you define a manager you believe in, a big name who might not get it right or a rookie who might do it. We’ve no idea who can take us to the next level, must have been loads of Forest fans last year like you,waiting for a name manager before renewing and they got one in Hughton, disaster, sacked but they certainly got it right with Cooper. Cant see the point in waiting for a manager before renewing, you either renew or you don’t, because whoever it is you don’t know which way it’s going to go.
