  1. I don't think putting in a young centreback with 30+ games in the Championship will fix this. We need a guy age 26-30 who actually have played at a higher level. It certainly will cost, but buying quality things these days usually does that.
  2. Nuttall to Blackpool confirmed. https://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/2019/august/blackpool-complete-deal-for-striker-joe-nuttall/
  3. So some CB's from Bundesliga and 2 with contract's ending next year : Bejamin Stambouli - Schalke 04 Robin Knoche - Wolfsburg Stefan Bell - Mainz Andre Hoffmann - Dusseldorf Kyriakos Papadopoulos - HSV Robin Bormuth - Dusseldorf Florian Hubner - Union Berlin Patrick Mainka - FC Heidenheim and Eredivise : Jan Arie van der Heijden - Feyenoord Eric Botteghin - Feyenoord Mike te Wierik - Groningen Maximillian Rossmann - Heracles
  4. Both the top leagues in Germany? And running down their contracts means players that have ending contracts next year?
  5. I think we need atleast one more CB in addition to Tosin. Hopefully a cash buy that will go straight into the team.
  6. Our other "trialist" Butterfield signs for Luton.
  7. Might be one to watch. Didn't TM go to the game between HSV and Union Berlin back in may?
  8. https://the72.co.uk/140543/ipswich-town-looking-to-hijack-blackpool-move-for-blackburn-rovers-striker/ Ipswich wants Nuttall.
  9. Hopefully something in the German centerback link since TM didn't deny it ?
  10. It seems that Skoric was rumoured heading to Besiktas back in May. Not that I have any knowledge of either the Croat or Bormuth, I hope that we sign both, because we need defenders. Maybe we will get a new Samba, who knows. And hopefully we want pay too much money, IF they sign.
  11. This guy? https://www.transfermarkt.com/mile-skoric/profil/spieler/71594
  12. “I’m hopeful we’ll have a player signed on Monday but let’s wait and see" So Tosin or Robin tomorrow then?
  13. "Blackburn are interested in signing German centre-back Robin Bormuth, Sky Sports News understands. The 23-year-old plays for Fortuna Dusseldorf in the Bundesliga, where he made 10 appearances last season. Rovers have agreed a season-long loan deal with Manchester City for youngster Tosin Adarabioyo. But the move has stalled so the Lancashire club are now exploring other targets, with Bormuth high among them."
  14. Mowbray was not planning to loan out Sam Hart : “It’s frustrating for him, he’s been great in pre-season,” Mowbray of Hart’s injury. “I told him that he wasn’t going back out on loan. I thought he was genuine competition for Amari’i Bell and Derrick Williams.
  15. "#Rovers players have just arrived and taking a look at the pitch. Sam Gallagher has travelled, no Christian Walton though. No sign of the three players who played 90 on Sunday, or Corry Evans." Evans on the move??

  17. Loan deal... if he is supposed to be our nr 1 and suddenly gets recalled by Brighton. Can they do that btw?
  18. Could Sam Hart be a dark horse for the LB position this season? Seems to have had a good pre season so far.
  19. "Linked" with Fraizer Campbell.
  20. So no chance of Martinez now then?
  21. So Myers claims there will be a forward, 2 GK's and a CB coming in addition to the kid from City?
  22. The City kid and hopefully a decent GK then. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17785046.rovers-set-announce-two-new-signings-within-24-hours/
  23. I was not able to watch the game, but Hart did well when he came on? I really hope that he might start ahead of Bell if he is ready.
