  1. We need to step it up. getting murdered out there now.
  2. Magloire on for Rothwell. Not sure how that affects the formation
  3. We are struggling down the right with Carter already on a yellow against their left winger who is probably their best player first half. Pickering doing ok on the other side but has stayed at the back most of the time. Poveda looks like a good addition already, direct in his approach and pretty quick. He got the assist as well I believe.
  4. Brereton. Was facing the wrong way and should have left it for Rothwell who was in a better position.
  5. The video stream graphic has the team down as 4-2-3-1, Gally up top with Clarkson behind him. Buckley right midfield, BBD left.
  6. As good as Buckley is I don’t think it’s wise to play him in two positions
  7. I see 4 defenders, 4 midfielders, and 2 attackers... Could it be a 4-4-2, noo surely too simple for Tony?
  8. Just ask the newc fans how they feel about the last manager they nicked off us..
  9. I watched the Norway game from the stands last night, with a special eye out for Pedersen, and I certainly don't think Pedersen did much to impress potential buyers. Not that any of the other players did either of course. His first 30 minutes were no good at all, passes all sprayed about with abandon and never seeming to hit the right man. Showed a few neat touches in the last 15 though, and I was sad to see him taken off at half time because he seemed to be getting into the game a bit. Before the match I had the oppurtunity to have a little chat with Halvard Thoresen, who is assistant manager of the Norway side and coached MGP for 3 years at U21 level. When asked specifically about MGP, he said that he is a bit incosistent yet but capable of being world class when he is performing at his best and surely will be a key player for Norway in the future.
