  1. If hes not going could just not bother registering Sigurdsson. He's out for another 4 weeks, then will need another month to get himself up to speed.
  2. Half a season in Serie B this season, 2 seasons in Serie C before that. Hopefully he's quick, because I don't see him offering much else.
  3. This sort of thing doesn't happen anymore.
  4. Of course there's still a chance that the Norwich game won't happen on that day anyway if we somehow beat Wolves.
  5. Unlikely if Kargbo is coming in. Plus, 2 cash signings in a January windows?! Ha!
  6. Looks like i was wrong about them hopefully leaving us alone https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/january/31/canaries-clash-selected-by-sky/ Another Saturday 3pm down the toilet.
  7. That's why we agreed to that date.
  8. Then the next person to come in will be exactly the same unfortunately.
  9. 1 clean sheet in the last 9. We'll definitely concede tonight, we can just never seem to cope with Preston here, as said before they are always just so much bigger, stronger, quicker and more athletic.
  10. I have a feeling when he gets here and he's up against better players than he has been playing against in Serie B/C, we'll find out that he's not that quick after all. Fully expecting him to be a bit part player for the rest of this season, and a bit of a dud in all honesty.
  11. We can afford him, its whether we choose to do so.
  12. This is what I was thinking. Plus Ohashi will be back in a couple of weeks and we have Leonard. I highly doubt that we will be buying two permanent wingers though, if Kargbo comes in then the hibs lad won't be.
  13. Yeah Cissoko and the Hibs winger won't be be happening if we get Kargbo. Some non descript striker will be next on loan.
  14. All Italian media and press saying Kargbo is all agreed and he is on his way over. Elliot Jackson saying it isn't. Up to you who to believe.
  15. Wouldn't put it past them, but that excuse wouldn't really wash, as they don't have to register the squad fully for the second half of the season until 24 hours after deadline day.
  16. Any serious club would. In the next 18 months we have Hilton, Brittain, Hyam, Batth, Weimann, Travis, Tronstad, Forshaw, Hedges, Dolan & Siggurdson all leaving for nothing. Of course some of those aren't worth extending, but it's still squad members we will need to replace. Plus Beck, Sanderson and ACD's loans all expring this summer. All loans is doing now is kicking the can down the road even further, we need 3 really good, cash signings that can be given a platform to play, and if we don't make the play offs sell on again in a year or two and repeat the process.
  17. Missed out Joe Hilton on that list, but Scott Wharton hasn't been registered because of his injury, so still at 23. So yes, unless anyone leaves only two can come in unless they are a under 21 permanent deal, of course we could always not register someone for the second half of the season, but no chance they will do that. As I have mentioned, and a few others two, to get an extra spot it would be worth not registering Hilton and let Michelski be 3rd choice for the rest of the season.
  18. No chance. Apart from Hedges, which they will class as a huge win, the rest will walk out of the door for nothing.
  19. Same character who thought Middlesbrough were in for Pears. Disregard.
  20. Wasn't he on twitter making up the Pears rumour?!
  21. Yeah we could take over his loan if we go to his parent club with I'm guessing a better contribution to what Plymouth are paying.
  22. Yep, he would be a huge waste of time on a loan IMO. I bet he would hardly feature, and will definitely get injured again.
  23. If there's a cheaper deal out there, this lot will take it.
  24. All loans need to be registered, even if they are under 21.
  25. I bet we aren't. We need more than that to finish in the top 6. Pickering is contracted until 2028 with his option, Carter and Pears 2027. The big worry for me is Brittain, Hyam, Tronstad and Travis all being next summer, I bet you now we don't get any of those sorted on a longer term deal. Easy words to say. Sensible thing to do would be go and get that Theirry Small from Charlton for the left back position, wouldn't need to register him, would be cheap being out of contract in the summer and will have good resale value. Also, don't register Hilton to free up another place, out of contract in the summer anyway and Michelski could easily step up and fill his role.
