  1. A lot of clubs in the lower leagues do a flexi ticket now. Bet we haven't even thought of the idea.
  2. I said at the start of the season that he was miles away from our matchday squad, and like you say he seems to be slipping further behind every week. I'd say he is behind Dack, Holtby, Armstrong, Downing, Rothwell, Buckley, probably Samuel and the way Mowbray has been talking him up this week, Butterworth at the moment.
  3. Johnson's name is all over Twitter being linked to this.
  4. Yes. I think he will go on to be a decent player at this level, but I can honestly say I haven't given Mahoney a second thought since he left. I don't think he had a touch when we played them the other week.
  5. Yeah, you have to laugh at everyone thinking we're just going to turn up and blow them away. If they get in front it could be a long, dull afternoon.
  6. I think that's a knee jerk reaction to a few goals in U23's football to be honest. From what I have seen, he's nowhere near good enough for this level. I do think Mowbray will give him a chance to prove himself though at some stage.
  7. Yes, we're 8 games in!
  8. With Saturday/Tuesday/Saturday games next week I can see most of our first choice 18 getting a start in those three games, think Downing will be rested for the midweek game myself.
  9. Think Buckley is nearly 20 rather than being 18, but it's a fair comment that Mowbray has blooded him this season, he's done ok and shown a few flashes in his appearances up to now, but I still think a year playing every week in league one would have done him the world of good this season.
  10. Remember him scoring a screamer against Chelsea at Ewood in around 97ish. Apart from that, was pretty non descript here I think.
  11. I'd say Bradley Dack has been pretty instrumental for us in the past two and a bit years, wouldn't you? 100 games, 40 goals, less than a million quid.
  12. That's exactly what will have happened. We are in the "me, me, me" era after all.
  13. I still "expect" us to improve on last season, both in league position and points on the board. However, I still think we'll end up very similar to where we were last season in both league position and points gained, whilst two very welcome results in the past couple of weeks, I can't really get too carried away in beating Milwall and Reading. If we are still four points off top come Christmas then of course I might have different thoughts.
  14. It's always a dangerous game looking that far ahead, when you start predicting x point from y games something will trip you up. If we are totally realistic, and not getting too giddy from beating two of the worst sides in the league, I can see 2 wins, 1 or 2 defeats and 1 or 2 draws from that little period. As for the Gallagher debate, I think he has all the tools to play that lone forward role and be our focal point of the likes of Armstrong, Dack, Holtby etc playing off him, but at the minute he doesn't look a goal threat at all, and ultimately that's what he will be judged on.
  15. I can only imagine it happening if we ever won promotion.
  16. Great win that. Feared the worst when I heard Evans name on the team sheet. Real chance for some momentum now, let's see what this side is made of.
  17. I dunno, I'm pretty old school and yes we should have 2 ready made first team players for each position, but those players should be made to work for the shirt, if someone is playing well then they should keep it until there form drops off. Wheres the incentive for an individual to play well if Mowbray is going to chop and change every week regardless of how you play?
  18. Same thing Bennett does at right back.
  19. Evans coming in strikes me as TM trying to keep everyone happy, and another reason why I think we'll never be above mid table with him in charge. No other reason what so ever to have Evans in ahead of Johnson.
  20. Has that photo got some of the young lads in too from the U23s? But yeah, lose Evans, Smallwood, Samuel, Chapman & Brereton straight away from that squad and I'm sure the wage bill would be a lot healthier.
  21. Cunningham could easily be back in the Cardiff side next season if they don't go back up, if they do then yes he could well be available. We don't pay transfer fees for defenders though, so that rules us out. Brighton have already said they think Walton will be there number one next season, i think they will go down and can see a bigger club taking a punt on Ryan who is there current number one. Walton will have had two full seasons at this level and be ready to step in as there number one. If Dack hits over 15 goals again at this level surely someone will test us with an offer? He'll only have 12 months left on his contract in the summer too, is he going to sign a new deal here if we're still plodding along in mid table? Can't see it.
  22. 3 decent signings yes, none of them will be here next season though, along with Dack and Graham probably moving on that's 5 players we need already for next season before we even look to strengthen.
  23. Babbel?
  24. Online allocation probably sold out, they don't tend to put on many on there at once. Just ring them up, there will be loads left. Think they go off sale at 3pm, then they are also on sale at the game tomorrow.
  25. I think it's the away form that will see us fall short of any top 6 aspirations. I can still see us being taken apart far too easily away from home unfortunately, as shown at WBA, anyone who attacks us with any sort of pace will still score regularly past us.
