It's really strange. Szmodics himself played for Peterborough a few days before coming here, and that was despite 2/3 weeks of negotiations beforehand with us. I personally think we're wrapping him in cotton wool and are scared stiff of any kind of injury happening, they know they will get a decent deal for him in this window at some point and an injury obviously scuppers that.

Eustace has today said to the media we need 5 players. GK, Full back, Midfield, 2 forwards who can play across the front line. And that they all have to make us better and not be here to "make up the numbers/for the sake of it". Good luck with that one!
