  1. I think the point is, we were having this discussion last summer when Diaz and Dack left. Who had scored around 30 between them the season before. Nobody expected Szmodics to step up with over 30 goals, anyone saying as much would have rightly been shut down as unrealistic. You just never know that someone might just step again, I personally think it's unlikely and our run of goalscorers will come to an end, but you just never know.
  2. Nixon just tweeted "Slow, very slow" when asked about incomings for those of you that take his word as gospel.
  3. It won't really matter if the owners name above the door doesn't change.
  4. Money for signings haha, we'll see Alan.
  5. Should only come with the venkys logo if you actually tick the box. If you have completely ignored it, you should be fine!
  6. I think he means Any Cryer, when he went to town on them and kean in a front page article titled "Time to go Steve" maybe? He didn't last long at the LET after that. Imagine Elliot doing that, for me he is the absolute worst "reporter" the LET has ever had.
  7. It says available from 11am to be fair.
  8. We never passed the 10k number of ST's so the draw didn't happen.
  9. I'm guessing we will have to pay some sort of fee for him as well?
  10. So we have until end of play Saturday to spend some of that cash, I wouldn't hold your breath!
  11. The days of a game at PNE full stop will be over soon enough.
  12. Considering it mention's all the lads who have signed scholar deals, why would it leave Finneran out?
  13. The fact he wasn't in the article tells me he has gone.
  14. Only going to get worse, only slight positive is at least before the start of the season we will know where we are upto fixture wise until mid Jan. PNE on a Sunday 12pm is horrible though.
  15. He will just bang on about all those great free agents there is out there instead.
  16. No point in selling Dolan now when the money is being used to keep the lights on and helps out venkys. Would rather keep the player as he won't be replaced. He won't go for free anyway in the summer if he stays in this country.
  17. Bank holiday is the weekend before. Neither of the 12/13 games were on Sky, and neither was the league cup game in 2017. All the rest have been.
  18. Still folk on here expecting millions to be spent on the mens first team even with stunts like that no doubt. Club is fucked.
  19. Even Jason Lowe scored a screamer once to be fair.
  20. Just another little PR piece, I'm sure Eustace would love some pace, power etc. Bet he doesn't get any though.
  21. £449 for a Riverside/Blackburn End season ticket from August 1st.
  22. Think that's highly ambitious to be honest, I don't think we'll see anything like that.
  23. "To cover operation costs for the 24/25 season that included strengthening the squad" it says. I personally don't think anything gets sent over.
  24. From the June newsletter... CLUB FINANCES AND CONTINGENCY PLANNING WATR asked the ‘what if‘ questions such as what is the plan if no finances are forthcoming from the Owners and what if the Owners decide to put the club up for sale. WATR were advised that there was no current impediments to allow the Owners funding the Club in the future and that the Delhi High Court case in August does not involve the running of the Club. SW informed WATR that funds had been requested from the Owners to cover operational costs for the forthcoming 24/25 season that included looking at strengthening the squad for the coming season. The Club are working on bringing in new players to give more strength and depth to the first team squad this season and this will obviously include some current players going out. The Owners are very clear in that they are not considering selling the Club. Should they ever decide to change their position on this matter then the usual sale process would kick in as has happened at other clubs. The Owners continue to fund the Club as they have done since they acquired the Club that gives us financial stability unlike other Clubs with many currently looking for either new investment or selling their clubs to new Owners.
