WATR were advised that there was no current impediments to allow the Owners funding the Club in the future and that the Delhi High Court case in August does not involve the running of the Club. SW informed WATR that funds had been requested from the Owners to cover operational costs for the forthcoming 24/25 season that included looking at strengthening the squad for the coming season. Of course we'll soon see if it transpires, like i said I think it's window dressing.

So funds have been requested from the owners to cover the 24-25 season and for strengthening the squad and the August court case is relevant. We'll see I suppose I personally think he's lying out of his backside.

Don't disagree, but we played Stockport on the Friday night last season before Girona on the Saturday, i still imagine we will have an Ewood friendly for the Saturday after Stockport this year like we did last season.

Also the premier inn accross from the train station which can be fairly cheap at times which is a 20/30 min walk to Ewood depending on your pace.

And now we play for draws against Plymouth and Milwall at home, with our captain telling us to calm down.

I think they did, but they also gave themselves more time last season by getting them on sale more than two months earlier than this. I'd like to think it will happen but won't hold my breath.

All this recruitment shake up nonsense was designed again to make sure we're late to the party with any signings with excuses, so yourself and many others can say "let's judge them after 3 windows" only for the entire thing to be ripped up again no doubt. No excuse culture at this club though apparently.
