  1. No he's on loan for the season, can't imagine they would want to recall him. He also has one of those phantom buy clauses in the loan deal.
  2. He is probably the next one they are forcing out due to his wages. A bruised ankle doesn't keep anyone out for 6 weeks. Also, VI said he has had a "setback" after the game on Saturday and is less hopeful he is available for PNE unless he completes two full weeks training by then. Something feels off about the whole thing.
  3. Football fans are far too reactionary from one result to the next. Played Southampton and Leicester at perfect times, although Bristol City was a good win. If we had played Southampton yesterday we would have lost. I predicted bottom 6 or so with a chance of going down at the start of the season, and have seen nothing to change my mind otherwise.
  4. Absolutely, but i think we all had that idea about him anyway when he got the job.
  5. Don't blame him for not quitting. Easy money working for this lot when you accept anything they want you to do, and let's face it he isn't getting another gig at this level after this.
  6. Anyone who plays Ryan Hedges at centre half shouldn't be taken seriously ever again. Rubbish this bloke.
  7. De Neve is one of the poorest footballers I have ever seen. He can run at defenders and fool us into thinking its an asset because its been so long that we have seen anyone do it from that side.
  8. Another complete embarrassment today, latest in a long line of 15 years of them. Most predictable result of the weekend, our lads just didnt seem to fancy it at all. Second half looked better on the eye, but in reality Eustace will just have told Derby to sit back as he knew there was no way we could hurt them. Eustace must be absolutely howling at this lot, and good on him too.
  9. Should only ever be venkys and there minions who get flak from us, Derby fans are irrelevant. Said since the fixtures came out and this game fell on the anniversary that nothing good can come of today. Expecting a total embarrassment with all our ex staff and players taking the piss out if us. It will sum up the venkys reign perfectly.
  10. Rushing Carter back to me seems like desperation for the sake of one game before a two week break. Maybe have him on the bench in case anything else goes wrong. Moving McLoughlin in the middle and bringing Riberio on the left seems more sensible to me. Also think he might go with experience with Forshaw rather than Montgomery from the start, and maybe bring his energy on after an hour.
  11. I can, it sums up the last 15 years perfectly.
  12. Different one I think. I think the one Arbitro is referring to is the procedure he had for his injury around November time (after he scored two goals against Cardiff) and it kept him out for around a 4-6 weeks, returning against Milwall on 21st December.
  13. It's been a great 2 weeks since that Sheffield Utd game. I think this will be one game too far for our fragile squad though, Toth, Wharton and Tronstad missing on top of Cantwell makes this game really difficult for us I think. Expect Riberio to come as the left sided centre back with McLoughlin moved to the centre. Derby are in even better form than us too. Felt at the start of the season that this would be one of the biggest humiliations of the venkys era with out ex manager, staff, captain & god knows how many players coming back on our birthday to take the piss. Rovers 0 Derby 2 Hope I'm wrong.
  14. I bet we don't. That will be 14 consecutive away defeats by promoted sides.
  15. Strange career by looks of it. 159 games in 13 year professional career. Also had plenty of academy experience at different clubs ranging from under 14s-21s. If it is him appointed for this role, I'm taking an early shot that he will be the first teams next "head coach" when they have no use for Ismael anymore.
  16. Absolutely no chance they get, or want Toth to sign a new deal. Be wanting to offload him in the summer especially if he keeps up this form.
  17. No I don't. Predicted we will be in trouble this year, which we are. Never said that last season, thought our midfield of Travis and Tronstad was a strong pairing. Seen nothing to suggest two from TGH, Baradji, Taveres & Montgomery would be anywhere near good enough for this level next season, and wouldn't be great for the league below. Appreciate there is plenty of time before that though.
  18. Last season did buck the trend a bit on that to be fair, away midweek wins at Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday & WBA.
  19. We'll be in huge trouble again if they are the midfield options next season, regardless of what league we are in.
  20. Also beat them 2-0 under Lambert in December 2015, Hanley and Marshall the scorers.
  21. To make it look like we are in control. Remember, Ismael said on a few occasions how he didn't want any loans. This way, we get a loan in without him looking daft. Lets see what happens, I don't believe they will make it permanent. Bardji, I bet they will.
  22. He's on big wages apparently. I think this is a loan deal rushed through on deadline day with no desire to make it permanent.
  23. Very little I guess. Maybe he's a set piece "analyst" instead of coach as he will spend most of his time analysing other teams routines for ideas and also for when we play against them etc.
