  1. No as stated above the bubble started in 09-10. For the games in 2000/2001 and the cup games in 04/05 it was strongly advised to travel by coach but you didn't have to. The only restriction in 2000 was that tickets only went on sale to ST holders with non being released for general sale, which meant we were around 500/600 short of selling out.
  2. We're due a draw, and Bristol are very bit as good as we are. 1-1
  3. 3 weeks ago you would begrudgingly accept. Not now though, far too late in the day. I really don't think venkys will be losing any sleep over him going for nothing, they have proven that with the lads who have left for nothing this year.
  4. Why on earth would anyone want to sell Diaz at this hour. Even bids of £30m should be instantly rejected at this time.
  5. I think we're done now. Cant see Dembele at all.
  6. At least with all the fun we have had with this one today, we can definitely write it off now. Cheers Merce!
  7. Wouldn't get too pleased yet, what JDT wants and what he will end up will probably be completely different. Really don't see another 3 joining this late.
  8. Remember going to the away game at Highbury that season, which it think was just before Christmas off the top of my head. 1-0 down at half time to come out and completely play that same side off the park in the second half to win 3-1. Genuinely thought we would be title contenders again that season after that.
  9. 99% of the time footballers will always take the money, at any level.
  10. I think it will just be one more now rather than 2.
  11. Not sure why folk still think Styles and Bowler are coming. No chance.
  12. Blackpool 2 Rovers 0 It's going to get worse before better, we haven't looked like scoring in the last 3 and I can see it continuing here.
  13. If I could choose between Caulker or Phillips to partner Ayala tomorrow, it wouldn't be the lad already here put it that way... Caulker as an experienced head to be 4th/5th choice seems ok to me.
  14. Delap and Gayle will give Phillips a torrid time. Guessing they will play with a bit more freedom now the manager has gone now too. Rovers 0 Stoke 2
  15. Not a chance with Bowler or Styles I think unfortunately.
  16. I heard it as though he didn't want to make the final sub incase he did, and then someone got injured so we would have to play with 10 men. Pretty obvious he isn't saying playing Dack is like playing with 10.
  17. Most obvious result of the weekend
  18. You can rule those two out as they haven't played in the top flight while it has been the "Premier League".
  19. Turn up like we did last night and this could be embarrassing, never been sure about there manager but he's got some very good players at his disposal. Sheff 3 Rovers 0
  20. Whatever happened to this by the way?!
  21. Yeah we charged £32 for this fixture a year ago. So thats about 4k home walk ons yesterday? Not bad at all, although a Sunday afternoon with glorious weather probably had something to do with it. Be interesting if we can beat that against Stoke on the bank holiday weekend, who I imagine will bring a similar following to what WBA did.
  22. There is no way we will pay him that kind of money at the moment. Spurs or whoever fancies him at the top level will pay him a decent wage, probably 3 or 4 times more than we would offer him. Then he will probably end up at this level on loan playing regular football anyway. I don't see how he stays unfortunately.
  23. Yeah he was obvious incredible aswell today. Reject any and every bid made for him before the end of the window.
