  1. Yeah was just about to reply similar that it sounds like the old 1875 club. As for away tickets, it was only ever needed for the Fleetwood game.
  2. Why say we will sell more than our local rivals if you don't know how many they have sold?! We might do better than Wigan, but we won't be anywhere near the rest as they have all sold 12-13k already, because there tickets were affordable and sensible.
  3. Last year of his contract too, it's just not going to happen. They will look to cash in on him I think.
  4. If we somehow got to near 10k season ticket holders at these prices, in the current climate, at least it would put to bed who the biggest and best supported club in the region are outside the top flight.
  5. Hope so, i'm a sucker for the quarters tradition.
  6. They were halves last season, do you mean its back to quarters this season or is still halves?
  7. Add my Mrs who is another fan of his. Showed her a brief video of him and she said "45, wow he looks younger than you". I'm not 40 yet 😐
  8. Only about 4 clubs in the entire football league with higher prices than ours according to that list.
  9. Save from a few months under Coyle, Mowbray has been the only first team manager Nyambe has had? You make it sound like he was playing for 10 years before Mowbray arrived 😉
  10. Probably in a couple of weeks when his work permit is sorted.
  11. Any club that gave a damn would be knocking £100 off each adult season ticket from right now up until the opening game of the season, anyone who has already renewed to get there £100 back off next years ST at the same prices. Market the hell out if and see where it takes us. Instead they will still be spouting #oneofourown for the next 6 weeks at £430 a pop.
  12. I hope the sponsor on the actual kits is similar to the training wear, instead of a horrible black/blue box just stuck on there.
  13. Pretty sure i read in the article where he signed his new contract that he's still 4 or 5 months away from being fit.
  14. I will never, ever understand the folk who said they were "relieved" when Sam was sacked, or even some who said they stopped going while he was in charge. I personally loved his only full season in charge. A top half Premier league finish, a cup semi final, only losing 3 games at Ewood all season (none to the so called "big 4"), doubles over both Burnley and Bolton.
  15. Crowds were the highest they had been in 8 years under Sam, granted tickets were a bit cheaper. Main thing is though, we were regularly winning games at Ewood with him in charge.
  16. Don't they usually take them off sale for a bit now to process seat moves etc? So might be a week or two until we can see the seating map to see how many have sold.
  17. I'd say going from 2nd to 8th is worse than going from 8th to 15th to be honest.
  18. Graham Jones said in a tweet a few days ago that his first choice was Carrick, so how he can question JDT's CV I don't know.
  19. Cant imagine venkys will be quick to approve anything unfortunately.
  20. I think they just forgot there were a couple of bank holidays at the end of last week so the shop would have been closed for anyone wanting to do it in person or on the phone.
  21. I would suggest that considering they have only done it once in 11 years and have employed 8 managers in that time, that it's a pretty reasonable suggestion.
  22. I'm guessing this time next year it will be viewed as a step up.
