  1. Imagine after all this with Rothwell it's Mowbray who buggers off just after deadline day 😂
  2. Have I read that right or have you typed it wrong?!
  3. I'm going to predict nobody.
  4. Something positive to deflect away from the Rothwell saga, that's why it's been announced today.
  5. That Preston game was originally meant to be a Sunday lunchtime in March, but got postponed because we made it to the FA Cup Quarter finals.
  6. I'm not sure prem clubs will be beating his door down to be honest. Could see a relegated club taking him if he stays until the summer. I think whatever happens in the summer with Rovers, he won't be here next season.
  7. Season ticket holders can buy an additional ticket for a tenner. Hopefully boost numbers a bit, shame it's not on the Saturday would have been a great following.
  8. I think it was naivety from the ticket office. They probably saw this game like a Bournemouth one, just after Christmas, fair distance etc. Wont have crossed there minds that we have only played there once in the last 40 years where fans have been allowed and a lot would want to tick the ground off.
  9. No. Obviously if we go up then he will stay. If we don't though, do we go on another "journey" with him or do we try start afresh considering that we have a load of out of contract players, and that we'll probably cash in on Diaz and Kaminski? I'd probably lean to the latter.
  10. Yeah I remember in 2000-2001 we made the Huddersfield and Sheffield Utd games in the run in £10 & £5 in all areas. The Huddersfield game got nearly 30k in, while the Sheff Utd which was midweek got over 25k on. Different times obviously, but I think the QPR game is perfect for a £10 ticket game, then maybe do something with the Bournemouth one if we're still in the run in.
  11. Cold hard cash is the only reason. I imagine Bournemouth would more than double his wages now without thinking about it. I agree though, even for that it would be stupid, if he plays like he has in the last 18 games and we go up, i'm sure there will be a few vying for his services at more money than Bournemouth would pay him now.
  12. See I don't think they would be interested If they went up and we didn't.
  13. Yeah you can't sign a pre contract with another English club. Slightly different rules than Scotland where they can I think. Rothwell would only be able to sign a pre contract at somewhere abroad/Scotland.
  14. Eddie Howe, whilst I'm not as high on him as some, is a bit of a better appointment than Kean!
  15. Haha, I gaurentee they won't feel bad about it!
  16. That's what Bournemouth and Fulham probably thought about us over the past 6 weeks or so.
  17. Much rather bring Davenport in and leave Lenihan at the back though.
  18. We'll lose this 2-0. Boro to do to us what we did to Bournemouth last month.
  19. Pretty sure Coyle bought Gallagher in originally on loan. Agree with the rest though.
  20. It's not been longer. His first injury he was out from December 2019 and made his first team comeback in December 2020. This time he got injured in March 2021 and it's only January 2022, so in reality he is probably a good month or so away from playing for the first team.
  21. Think Rothwell was always a central midfielder to be honest, Mowbray just played him out wide because he didn't really know what to do with him. Also see Armstrong, Brereton, Gallagher, Holtby.
  22. Yeah must have, he's just told me they said it was in the last handful at 9am this morning. Anyway Hull, really intrigued to see the away following on TV tomorrow night as i'll still be surprised if 2500 turn up. After watching the Hull/Stoke game on Sunday, there's no excuse for not taking 3 points here.
  23. There is still a few left, my mate got one this morning.
  24. Unlikely. I think everything points to somebody playing in Europe.
