  1. Unlikely. I think everything points to somebody playing in Europe.
  2. Notice they want another game postponed tomorrow. Sounds like they have given up.
  3. I also think for the sake of £20 that quite a few might have kept hold of them as its an extra ticket on there buying history incase we get someone in the play offs who have a small away allocation or something.
  4. I'd be suprised if he gets that kind of wage again.
  5. It's because the Premier League have a weekend off on January 29th because of the rearranged South American World Cup qualifiers that are happening then, that along with the AFCON going on it was decided that they would get the last weekend of Jan off, and move the next round of the cup to the first weekend of Feb.
  6. JRC will play left wing back if something happens to Edun in the next couple of weeks.
  7. It used to be £100,000 for every home game moved for TV (which was slightly increased if it was moved to a Sunday or a Thursday) and £10,000 for every away game moved a couple of years ago I read. Not sure if its increased since or not.
  8. Killed a decent away day with WBA. Swansea will probably be behind closed doors anyway. Wonder if this will prompt a creative ticket offer for the QPR game, I wont hold my breath.
  9. Sky have gone nuts with selections for us in Feb... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2022/january/11/sky-selections-confirmed/
  10. We were 8th, on 39 points from 26 games when he signed. He played in 19 of the final 20 games for us, and we finished 15th on 57 points. Make of that what you will....
  11. Unless it's with Big Sam of course 🙄
  12. @CheshireRoveris good for a scoop, remember he called the Harvey Elliot deal before anyone else had got wind of it.
  13. I'm sure there are tens of thousands of reasons why he would do that.
  14. I think we'll change most players and go down with a whimper like we usually do in the cup under Mowbray, that and we have a horrible record here. Wigan 2 Rovers 0
  15. Be interesting to see what category the Middlesbrough game is as they usually bring a half decent following, especially when doing well. Should be category C with it now being an evening game, but as its a weekend game that has been moved I think it will be B. If it was still a Saturday no doubt it would have been category A.
  16. Remeber one against Middlesbrough (funnily enough) in our first season down, then again against Cardiff on the opening weekend of the 14-15 season. We also had a non televised one against Rotherham in 2015 because our game the Tuesday afterwards got put to the Monday night for TV. Genuinely can't remember any more Friday night games in this period.
  17. Just a shame that there are no more weekend games at Ewood until 19th Feb.
  18. Nearly 7000 home match day tickets bought for today's game by the looks of it. Nothing like a winning team eh.
  19. I'm not sure that will play into the clubs decision should a huge bid come in for him to be honest 😆
  20. I imagine there's loads left. Rovers fans have been notorious for buying late though when there is no rush to buy a ticket, hopefully a good result tomorrow will spur on sales closer to Saturday. Hopefully make it pay on the day too.
  21. I'm not sure that is correct. The rule was that you had to charge away fans the same price for a like for like seat, eg the Darwen End and Blackburn End. It's why Leeds always got away with charging away fans £38-40 when they moved there away end as it was opposite there main stand where the home fans were paying that. Behind the goal they were much cheaper. It's only this season we have done the bizarre move of charging the same for the Riverside as we do all the other lower tiers. If we must have a Cat A price structure where everywhere else is £30, the Riverside should be £25 at the most.
  22. We were bubbling along at the time of that Sheff Utd game though and just suffered a 7-0 thumping a few days before. £15 in all areas against Hudds, on a traditional bank holiday weekend when we could potentially go into the automatic promotion places? Think we would easily get 20k on including away support.
  23. Just a small point Gav, tickets aren't capped at £20 for midweek games, it's £20 in the other 3 stands but still £25 if you want to go in the Jack Walker.
  24. Last weekend game at Ewood until February 19th. Not ideal for those half ST's. Think this will be really tough, might be a game too far for our lads as thought we looked pretty leggy late on, on Wednesday. Just need one final push to get the win before a 2 week break from league games.
