It's a last minute decision to show it on Sky as the main game, as the original televised game for that timeslot (Barnsley v Stoke) has been postponed. It was listed to be on the red button anyway though. Barnsley at home is classed as a "Bank Holiday fixture" so can only be shown on the red button if the home club agree to it. No suprise that we haven't, as never do for the bank holiday fixtures.

I very much doubt it. He's a megastar in Chile, here he would be flavour of the month for a bit before having thw media tell us he shouldn't be anywhere the England squad (if he were to carry on scoring goals at the top level that is).

If it was in September I would be inclined to agree. I think a 3 game bundle over Christmas though, when a lot of folk would be back in the area for Christmas, people maybe finished work for a couple of weeks, no worrying about schools so can take the kids the midweek one etc. Especially with the team flying so high I think it would have been worth considering. Think Ipswich have done £15 each or all three for £40.

What makes me laugh is that Waggott said in the last fans forum that we couldn't do a ticket deal for the 3 Christmas fixtures as the EFL didn't like them and it was unfair on away fans paying full price etc. Yet Ipswich have done exactly that, and had just under 30k on against Sunderland. Why can they do it and we can't? Why do Ipswich want a full stadium and Rovers don't? Strange to me.

There is obviously a wage structure here that they aren't willing to break, so please can we stop with "well if get £20m and put it towards keeping the other lads it's a good deal" Not going to happen.

If we were 15th I would be agreeing with you. For the first time since relegation in 2012 though we look like we might have a chance to do something in this league, if we sell Diaz at the earliest opportunity it will just show that football results don't matter here, and never have. For once, it's worth the risk of losing a few million off his asking price and waiting until the summer.

Yeah its a farce really. Everyone wonders why nobody takes it seriously anymore and that's one of the main reasons why. Used to love third round day with so many clubs kicking off at the same time in the same competition.

Looks like most of them have. Only 10 Saturday 3pm games left out of the 32 ties. Although there is a little disclaimer at the bottom of the FA article saying "further overseas TV selections will be communicated in due course"

There was no chance it would be moved for UK TV with all the top PL sides in action. We were actually one of the few to have a Saturday 3pm KO last season. Don't think we will this season.

Over 20k on that night too. We really were light years ahead of them at that point, great times.

The novelty was always bound to wear off there, same happened with us in the mid 00's. Some of our away followings were horrendous during that period.
