Kargbo looked like he was about to cry when he came off the pitch at the end. Also zero celebration when he scored. I know he took some stick for his howler in the week but it seemed a strange reaction.

Nobody is ‘mixing up’ what you said. You used the words that it was our most ‘expensive’ window in years… it wasn’t. We bought in more than we spent which makes it the fucking opposite of expensive!! If I go for a night out and win £100 on a fruit machine in the first pub I go to and then spend £70, I’ve not had an ‘expensive’ night have I.

Just seen the replay and it was an offside after the shot. I was only half watching and thought one of their players had been offside in the build up so ignore me.

No idea why the commentators keep referring to the Sorba Thomas chance in 10 seconds. Offside was given wasn’t it? I’m sure there was no corner following the save. If they are going to talk about that then they should talk about Gudjonnsen scoring from the offside cross.

I’m keen to see how TGH gets on. Actually think he may be a better player than Tavares so he’s got a good chance to stake a claim to a starting position.

Ipswich looked very good on Friday but that was their first win of the season. They’ve only lost one but draws have been the issue for them. I’d take a draw now but saying that I would have taken a draw away at Watford.

Cantwell will be up for it next week, he’ll face dogs abuse from the Ipswich fans but I think he’ll thrive on it. He looked a class above yesterday. Pre match was spent arguing with some knob head on Facebook who was insistent that the current squad was miles better than last season. Obviously he was keen to dig me out after the win. Stand by my comments that I can’t see us finishing in the top 6 but after a performance like that I guess anything is possible. Not expecting anything from next week but it’s the championship so who knows.

I think it’s just the unknown at the moment. We haven’t seen enough of the new signings to really make a judgement. Still surprised we haven’t looked to bring in a free CB after the window closed. They would have had a bit of time to train during the international break.

I’ve no idea if that’s good news or not but it should remove the blocker that seemed to be in place
