Just got back to my mates place where I’ll be staying tonight before heading back home in the morning. He’s a PNE fan so I’m amazed I still have a room for the night!! We deserved that win. I feel we offered more all night and it’s got to be one of the best away games I’ve done for many a year.

Sheffield Wednesday have just bought in Liam Cooper and said he’s likely to start on the weekend. Kind of flies in the face of VAs comments that free players wouldn’t be fit for 6 weeks plus.

I’m heading to this. Been a while since I did back to back games but the international break has made it possible.

And in the BBE lower by the start of half time the only pies available were meat and potato. Everything else had sold out at the outlet I visited. I ended up having a hotdog and thought I’d ‘treat’ myself to the chips and drink with it. Asked for those as they come as an offer and was told that’s only for the early bird offer lol. Didn’t seem to be anything obvious on the signs but maybe I missed it. Just seemed a bit poor. I was at the ground before 10:30 but it really didn’t feel overly special. The fireworks were probably the best part. Decision for the ref to blow the whistle before then having the last post played was always going to end up in chaos. Everyone knows what happens when the ref blows the whistle after the silence, everyone cheers!! Should have gone straight into the last post and it would have no doubt been perfectly observed. I do wonder if the club have realised that they may have dropped a massive bollock with the 150 shirt. If it’s been proven that we never actually played a game in an all white kit then it could be a bit embarrassing. I wonder if someone has taken it from a quick google search without fully diving into the history. Anyway, not having a special kit worn or available is a joke and just about sums the club up at the moment.

Left home at 6:45am for the long trip to Ewood. Caught up with some good friends who I definitely don’t see enough, that was probably the highlight tbf. The M6/M5 was kind so I was home by 6pm. We didn’t do enough to win that game. The strange idea to play Henrikkson in MF and Hedges at CB made us a little shaky. I prefer Henrikson further forward so I’m surprised it wasn’t Forshaw or Montgomery and then Rebeiro or Pickering at the back. It shows how threadbare the squad is though. Have they realised how bad Tavares is as he can’t get anywhere near the pitch. We were being told he was some superstar signing in the summer.

All the talk of loads of ex Rovers playing for them, they had two in the team last night (stoke had 4). Im heading up for this one, will be an early start but wanted to be there for the anniversary game.
