And in the BBE lower by the start of half time the only pies available were meat and potato. Everything else had sold out at the outlet I visited.
I ended up having a hotdog and thought I’d ‘treat’ myself to the chips and drink with it. Asked for those as they come as an offer and was told that’s only for the early bird offer lol. Didn’t seem to be anything obvious on the signs but maybe I missed it. Just seemed a bit poor.
I was at the ground before 10:30 but it really didn’t feel overly special. The fireworks were probably the best part. Decision for the ref to blow the whistle before then having the last post played was always going to end up in chaos. Everyone knows what happens when the ref blows the whistle after the silence, everyone cheers!! Should have gone straight into the last post and it would have no doubt been perfectly observed.
I do wonder if the club have realised that they may have dropped a massive bollock with the 150 shirt. If it’s been proven that we never actually played a game in an all white kit then it could be a bit embarrassing. I wonder if someone has taken it from a quick google search without fully diving into the history. Anyway, not having a special kit worn or available is a joke and just about sums the club up at the moment.
