  1. Pitches up on BBC Radio from time to time. Believe he was involved in a young boy/Cinema indescretion a few years back?
  2. Locally, all at Radio Di....sorry Lancs, apart from Richard Dinnis - closet Dingles. On the flip side I quite like Nigel "FAVOURATE TIME OF THE WEEK!!" Pearson on Talksport. Knowledgable, enthusiastic and one of the few on there that dosn't slag off Rovers.
  3. http://www.football365.com/mailbox/story/0...2007648,00.html Best I can do. Bet the audio is ace though.
  4. I see that Fergie has turned on his favourate patsy Geoff Shreeves. Apparently he didn't like an interview he conducted with Ronaldo and let him know in no uncertain terms, unleashing a four letter tirade before storming out of a press conference. All of which was recorded by the BBC's Ivan Gaskell! I've been trying to find audio on Google and Yahoo with no luck and utube appears to be down. It would appear that Whiskey Nose has now fallen out with Sky as well as the BBC meaning we dont have to listen to the obnoxious, hypocritical bully anymore.
  5. Neil Warnock is a bell end
  6. I used to dislike Alan Green but I have heard him defend our corner on more than one occaision especially from Arsenal fans after the cup games. I suppose he does whinge a bit for somebody who has such a fantastic job but anyone who stands by the Rovers is ok by me,
  7. Just expressing an opinion Squire. No need for the abuse.
  8. McCarthy is a class act, has fantastic abiltiy and could be a real crowd pleaser. The fact that he isn't really a massive fan favourate despite his 18 goals speaks volumes. Not only does he sometimes appear lazy, he oftens gives off a surly impression. I suspect that was one of the reasons behind his recent absence from the first team and the way he celebrated his stunner against Arsenal suggested as much. Quite childish. Cocker, regardless of the service, McCarthy is being paid fortunes for the joy of playing football for a living. I and I suspect many others, would like to see more than sporadic enthusiasm.
  9. Well spotted Eddie. Yes Derbyshire does run around a lot dosn't he?
  10. That's an odd post. What's your beef with Matt Derbyshire?
  11. McCarthy was poor yesterday but he wasn't alone. Yes, fair enough strikers are judged on goals and McCarthy has scored plenty. He does, occaisionally, display a poor attitude imo. He wouldn't be the only prolific striker to do so.
  12. Was physically at Ewood. Couldn't be arsed as it was wet and windy. I Would have Bellamy back in a heartbeat.
  13. John Lowey! Check out the gate
  14. I would imagine somebody out there would have an old vhs cassette with some vintage Garns on it suitable for U tube. Get uploading, would be tremendous! I seem to remember when the old BBE was demolished the Rovers FC sign was put in storage to be displayed in a museum to be housed in the reconstructed stadium. The sign, of course, has a great new location - the museum has gone the same way as the railway station at the back of The Riverside!
  15. Talksh*te banging the drum for Nicky Shorey. Hardly surprising as he plays for Reading in Royal Berkshire.
  16. I've called Mike Riley many things - pencil necked t*** usually. However, whether in Portugese or not, refering to his Mum as a whore isn't nice. The Special One oversteps the mark yet again.
  17. Not sure about this. He hasn't really pulled up any trees this season and Rovers aren't exactly falling over themselves to secure his services. I suspect an agent at work with the Pompey/Fulham link.
  18. LT reporting that Jeffers was contacted by fellow Scouser and current Tractor Boy Gary Roberts. He told Jeffers he should head to Suffolk as Ipswich have bigger support, take more away and are a bigger club. Gary is an ex Stanley winger so he'd know all about big clubs
  19. A bit harsh. He's obviously doing ok though, if he's househunting in Wilmslow! See what I did there?
  20. He was Captain of our great club but threw it back in our faces for few quid extra. Despite all his b.s. talk about Bobby Moore et al he will do the same to The Hammers when they go down.
  21. Never thought I'd say this but come on Spurs!
  22. Think this his second ban for drink driving. Only had his licence back for two months. Quite an achievement for a 19 year old. Dosn't auger well.
