He already has little defence. That's one of the problems

Night matches are great for atmosphere

I'd rather watch boring winning football than exciting losing football in the long run

And scores the first goal

Thought this was the transfer thread but if we're talking westerns I've just watched Jeremiah Johnson and Open Range, both dubbed in French.

Season Tickets 2019/2020

Prices are not that expensive but if you factor in many households where they are looking at possibly 2 adults and a couple of teenagers it adds up. Do Rovers do a family ticket or a discounted second adult ST at the same address or some kind of other offer that mitigates the cost. I can remember the struggle we had paying for 2 adults and 3 kids when ours were younger and we had a good household income. Price is not the only factor in enticing people to Ewood and a number of other things put people who were once stalwarts off. But if you rely heavily on St holders for your income and crowds then you have to do more than ask Where are they? You have to actively seek them. -
According to TMS potential rain tonight but not tomorrow

But then Ali hasn't been it for some considerable time. He's just picked because he could do it once upon a time. Sounds a bit like Rovers

New law changes for 2019/20 season

Technology works well in cricket, tennis, rugby where the guy on the pitch decides when it's used. Football's problem is that the guy on the pitch isn't the one who decides if he needs VAR. -
I think that's the reason to send them out on loan though. To give them a chance to play regularly in a different environment. Its tougher going somewhere different than staying in your comfort zone
-
Leaving the ground Was hard work and with the number of small children a crowd surge could have been very nasty. We often go the other way round the ground to miss the queue
-
Frees aren't free though are they? Wages, signing on fees etc all have to be paid and 3 of the 4 you mention are a fair way past 30. What we really need is a 28 year old or so who we can, barring serious injury, rely on to organise our defence for the next couple of seasons at least. They cost money I know. And they're not easy to come by. But working from that as the ideal we should be able to land someone capable
-
I believe they will but it seems odd that Mark Hughes looked first at the defence then added the attackers whereas Mowbray has concentrated on more forward areas and ignored his specialist area
-
What I really don't understand is why Mowbray, the defender, cant recruit defenders. Could it be true that Venkys simply wont pay for defenders as has been suggested?
-
The deal to sign Adam must have been sorted before the weekend because he was at Hale Barns carnival on Sunday with his family
-
We were in the top of stand C too. Great view.
-
Lancs playing at OT on Friday again. Tickets seem to be adults £15 under 18s £8 and kids £1. We'll be there if alls well
-

-

Season Tickets 2019/2020

Meanwhile in a completely different world, we just bought 2 senior Clitheroe season tickets for £30 each. 6 matches each at that price and we're saving. Not suggesting Rovers could do that but we've never bought ST'S at Clitheroe before so it shows what you can do if you market imaginatively. They have £60 in the bank that they wouldn't otherwise have had. We can pop along to any match at Shawbridge at short notice any time we're free even if we can only make the second half. -
Haha. I'd already edited it. My phone is very difficult to type on
-
No the links is another matter. If we sign someone or actually look like we might then people want to discuss it, give their opinions and so on so you need a discussion area so people can speculate around it, but the thread opens so early that everyone is bitching and bickering and almost none of this thread is about transfers
-
Transfer thread should stay closed till nearly the end of the window or at least until there's something new to report. That way we might fight it out elsewhere and those who want to read and respond to actual transfers would be able to read this without pages of rubbish bickering. Probably wouldn't work though

We don't have Owen Coyle in charge
