Agreed. We are miles away from mounting a serious challenge on Aussie soil at test level.

Wall of sound, revolutionary, talented guy. Sadly Phil was an absolute nut job and a murderer. Thankfully the music lives on.

I had a similar issue years ago. Where the gutter sections connected the seal had broke, water poured down the wall for weeks. Waited for a dry day, sealant gun (£5) and sealed the gap, job done. If you get a roofer in you’ll need a new roof for a broken gutter 😉

They're making heavy weather of this matt.

I don't disagree with your post arbitro, but on Gallagher. Its a pity Kevin didn't have the balls to do the same when king rat was here, we needed the media on the supporters side, yet Kevin was one of his chief apologists week in week out, I lost all respect for him during that period.

Millwall away 88/89?
-
You managed to un-muddle it 👍 Can you have a word with Ewood Ace?
-
You're missing the point again, which was we can't compete with Brentford, for all the reasons stated above.
-
Brentford have pulled in £120m over the past 5yrs on player sales, thats some war chest, we could only dream of such riches these days. Its not hard to do the maths chaps, we've pulled in £1.99 and a couple of packs of Venky chicken. We can't compete.
-
Once you accept the likes of Norwich, Stoke, Bournemouth, Watford, Brentford and Swansea have much bigger budgets, massive budgets if only in term of wages, you'll be in a much better place EA.
-
No chance, sorry J*B, thanks for putting it out there, but thats not true from the website you're looking at. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2001/dec/30/newsstory.sport1 £7.6M according to The Guardian.
-
Much bigger than ours, Fletcher, Allen, Obi Mikel, Vokes and Ince. We're not in Stokes league really are we?
-
FUCKING HELL (Apologies K-Hod and the mods) Andy Cole is still our most expensive signing at £8m? Is that including wages 😪 I feel sick...
-
That's criminal....but nowhere near Stokes budget by the way, Allen and Obi Mikel are on a fortune compared to us. Can you tell me how much we've spent since 1990? Or does it not go back that far?
-
We probably haven't spent £90m in our entire history I'd wager. Just sayin.
-
Mark Hughes spent £90m at Stoke by the time he was sacked in 2018, we were spent £1.7m that year. Mowbrays comments are nonsense, but some perspective maybe.
-
The art of good comedy is to know when to exit stage left, taxi for Hoochie. (But I'm still laughing over someone poaching of Mowbray) 😆 Brilliant.

Now thats funny 😂😂

Because Venkys say so, fans can't sack the manager. -

Could be worse, we could be Derby. -
Where is that photo taken? Is that The Brownhill pub in the background?

I had a season ticket in 80's, all my mates did too, so I don't recognise your first sentence at all, reduced season ticket numbers was more about the product on the pitch than the buying culture. History tells us that our gates will remain steady and season ticket sales play no part in that, so lets agree to disagree 👍
-
Lets forget the premiership seasons, they're long gone, no basis whatsoever on future attendance discussions unless we get back there. Lets talk abut the past 3/4 seasons, season ticket numbers have declined we are led to believe, gates have stayed more or less the same, give or take. This assertion that gates will drop if season tickets sales drop simply isn't born out by the facts as we have them Matty. We had extremely poor season ticket sales in 80's for the most part, gates stayed the same, 8000 regulars, 12,000 on a good day, promotion campaign. Its always been the same and will continue to be so in my humble opinion.
-
I never mentioned selling 8/9k season tickets, I'm talking about fans through the gates, be it a mixture of weekly buying of tickets and season tickets. Our season ticket numbers have dropped over recent years, our gates have not, your predication above hasn't happened so far and prices went up, I think? If season ticket prices go up further, people will buy weekly, we have a hardcore support, they will always come through the gates in my opinion.
