  1. Yet one of them is going home tonight and we are not, get some perspective man.
  2. I was sat here trying to think of 1 Greek player from that Euro winning team, so thanks for that riverholmes
  3. When Greece won Euros in 2004 they weren’t outstanding, they ground out results. Every ‘expert’ predicted they’d lose the next game and they never did. Keep the faith and ignore the nay sayers.
  4. The best set of England penalties I’ve ever seen - Southgate had them well drilled. Superb stuff, the result is all that matters.
  5. Southgate subs changed the game, now go on and win it.
  6. Saka has been our best player today, superb strike.
  7. Tough to play against a back 5, but I’m happy with the first half, an England goal is coming 🙏
  8. England have dominated the game, the Swiss have been poor, you don’t need to be a bbc pundit to see that.
  9. Saka doing just that, beats his man almost every time. Much better from England.
  10. Saka superb run, Kane trotting into the box…. Southgate can’t run for them.
  11. Many fans forget, or aren't old enough to recall, that we've not even qualified for tournaments in the past, let alone played badly in them! Some of those group games in Italia 90 were right up there with these, Mexico 86 group games too, but granted thats a while back. As for Graham Taylor, goodness me, we looked like Brazil 1970 last night compared to his tenure!
  12. Unbeaten, into the Quarter finals, nothing else matters. The euphoria of Jude's goal hitting the back of the net last night is why we are all football fans, nothing like it, tremendous. You need luck to win tournament football, we had a huge slice of it last night, we can win this.
  13. Same comments since the opening game and look where we are. Performances have been poor, results have been put is in Qfinals.
  14. Winner progresses to the next round, number of goals don’t matter.
  15. Tournament football is all about the result, the performance doesn’t matter. Next!
  16. Around 30,000 England fans are starting to arrive in Dusseldorf for the clash with Slovakia on Sunday. Nobody seems to be writing about the impeccable behaviour of the travelling hordes, even the gutter press have packed up the SLR Cameras and returned home to chase ambulances. We have the best fans in the world, its time for this England side to step up and make this nation proud. Come on England.
  17. Whilst England top the group and qualify at a canter, shout out to the fans tonight who never stopped singing from start to finish, in fact they’ve never stopped singing since they got to the airports and ports across the U.K heading to Germany. Brilliant support, I salute you all.
  18. Thats what the French are saying right now, but we all know both France and England have more to give.
  19. Let’s see what happens pal, keep the faith. Seen this so many times over the years, we have another gear or two yet.
  20. No England manager has won more tournament games than Gareth Southgate, ever! Come on England.
  21. If that was my flag, I'd be moving it.
  22. England possible route Round 16: Solvakia/Austria QF: Switzerland/Croatia Semi Final: Dutch/Hungary/Romania/Turkey Could it be coming home 🤞
  23. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24403287.blackburn-rovers-hit-fa-charge-crowd-behaviour/ Looks like we've been hit with an FA charge for fan behaviour, this comes several months after the match took place, did Attwell lose his pen? Maybe they wanted us to be a bit more rowdy, light a few flairs, run onto the pitch, who knows......
  24. 🤣🤣 - Funny, spat my brew out. Klopp and Guardiola earn around £20m a year, have you had a slurp already? But if we aren't going for an English manager, only this calibre would do for me and its failed twice before.....
