Still only 5 points of the playoffs, if he can sort of the defence we have a chance, but he needs to get a lick on. Could have been worse, we could spent £150 and travelled! Anyone seen Boris Johnson?

I used to be amazed that by the time we get from the ground to the paper shop near The Aqueduct, The Pink had the results printed!

Once we get out of this bleedin pandemic, you could always slip something into his tea True story, I worked in burnley for a number of years during the 2000's, needs must and all that - My dad didn't speak to me properly for months after I told him, he thought it was a betray of some kind. I'm sure most people wouldn't be able to comprehend that now, but those Bangor Street lads took the burnley rivalry very seriously and still do!

Superb news I become a grandparent a couple of years ago, she's an absolute delight. The only downside.......She's a Wednesday fan like her dad.......but I've hopefully got another 10yrs to work on that

Bob Arum mentioned Agit Kabayel and Carlos Takam after the Wilder fight was scrapped, but nothing set in stone.

Bobby Ball of Cannon and Ball fame has sadly passed away from COVID-19. I loved Cannon and Ball in 80’s, such a popular act across the UK. https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2020/oct/29/comedian-bobby-ball-dies-aged-76-after-testing-positive-for-covid

You wouldn’t have know 47er, it was all cleared up rather rapidly by our superb mod team. I’ve seen his account on here hacked in the exact same way previously, hopefully the mods will pounce. I don’t agree with chaddy on most things, but one thing we all have in common is the reason we are here right now - Blackburn Rovers - His passion for the club shines through and I for one hope to see him posting back on here as soon as possible.
-
Gents, just to confirm. I saw 2/3 posters on this site last night, laughing at the hack on chaddys twitter page that referred to a Tyrhys Dolan song and death of one of chaddys mates. The mods took down those despicable posts and I’m sure are now looking into the hack on his account on here. They know who the 3 stooges are, the timing of the piss take seemed very convenient. The culprits are cowards, bedroom dwelling no marks. Hope that clears up the confusion.

@tomphil I’m still trying to get over that punch that did for Dillian Whyte - I felt it from 200 miles away

Which is strange Asia being a defender himself.... Lets hope he goes one better this time.

Yes I agree tomphil, I was just making the point he has taken a team out of this division. I said at the back end of last season that he should get 10 games to see if he change things, in my opinion he's certainly done that. The biggest criticism of Mowbray on here was he never goes for the win, well thats not the case this season so far! He was also criticized for not bringing in any decent defenders, he's hopefully addresses that issue to. Its still very early in the season, we look a good side going forward, if he fixes the backline we could do something this season and I never thought I'd be saying that at the back end of last season. Keep the faith.

I’ve not seen the stuff myself, but one or 2 on here were laughing and joking about it last night The lads a Rovers fan at the end of the day and a bloody passionate one at that, same as we all are, you hit one and we all limp.

To be fair he took West Brom up as champions didn’t he? With Kevin Philips banging the goals in, similar player to Armstrong in many respects.

Daniel Ayala?

I’m sure someone posted Tyrhys Dolan on the Covid thread on the other side of the forum last night, completely out of the blue referring to chaddy, the mods have removed it, hopefully they know who the culprit is. Some spineless faceless bedroom dwelling no mark no doubt. As for Mowbray, the good news is we’ve time to sort out the defence, still very early days. The bad news is, he’s been trying for 3yrs!

Just given the new Springsteen album a spin - Letter To You. Some old tracks that never made his early albums, one in particular (Song for Orphans) is very Bob Dylan (My back pages) and some Tom Petty "Influence" on a few tracks, great stuff. I just hope he gets to tour again, for anyone who hasn't been to a Springsteen gig, you'll probably never go to a better one, I've been to hundreds of gigs and nothing comes close to Bruce and The E Street band.
