  1. Seem to remember them playing the Breezeblock, I almost went, but as you say they've become pretty cr@p in recent years. Music for middle aged women, that don't usually 'do music' as someone recently pointed out! Controversial, but I see what they mean.
  2. Richard Hawley - The Ocean
  3. I've been to hundreds of gigs, and very few are 'fun' you go to sing the songs with thousands of others usually.Coldplay apparently add another dimension, been told Muse do the same, but I take your point, they're a bit dull, although 'The scientist, Yellow and Clocks' stand up as quality tracks.
  4. I learnt a long time ago that you should never disregard anything K-Hod, especially because the popular consensus is it's simply 'Not cool'
  5. Simon and Garfunkel - Poem on the underground wall
  6. Bob Dylan - John Wesley Harding
  7. Some of Coldplays early stuff was great, but they're very uninspiring I agree. But I've heard that the live shows are something of an event, great fun by all accounts with audience participation of some sort. Never been myself though.
  8. Sly and the Family Stone - Stand
  9. Jimmy Cliff - I can see clearly now
  10. The Hollies - Carrie Anne
  11. Bob Dylan - Absolutely Sweet Marie
  12. Fasten your seat belts http://orangeintheoven.com/2016/05/07/owen-coyles-job-line/ Unfortunately the team which he assembled in his own image has shown itself to be a steaming pile of garbage. If this really is the team Coyle wanted then the only conclusion is that he has no idea what he’s doing. If that is the case– and it certainly looks more and more likely that it is– then Owen Coyle must be fired. Coyle’s tenure with the Dynamo has been very poor.
  13. Primal Scream cancelled Beat Herder festival due Bobby Gillespies fall, can't be helped but if I was going I'd be right peed off at that, they're the main headline act.
  14. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did, terrible disease. A man that certainly transcended the sport, he'll be missed. RIP Champ
  15. Great performance tonight, especially with Yorks middle order coming back, Root fantastic and you could say we got a bit lucky with Bairstow, but the result was never in doubt. Sets us up nicely now for defending the T20 title after 2 early loses. Oh Lancy Lancy
  16. We're at New Road tonight hopefully watching Yorkshire get beat. B0llox to football
  17. Couldn't make it this time for obvious reasons, but went last time he played Etihad and it was without doubt the best concert I've ever been too. The rendition of 'Land of hope and dreams' alone was worth the admission price. They don't make me like Bruce anymore sadly.
  18. Great days cricket, glad you enjoyed it Al
  19. I thought Stuart Broads batting display today was a disgrace, he had a man Bairstow at the other end trying to reach 100 and he batted like an idiot thinking about nobody but himself, embarrassing Stuart. England just made Sri Lanka follow, should be over in 3 days.
  20. I been the Ocean Palace many times and its good, but its not as good as Yu, and they keep all the staff tips, never give a tip at Ocean Palace the staff don't, or didn't, get the cash Mais has a very good reputation, heard good things about that place but never been. But as you say its all about opinions pal
  21. Voted best in the country a few years back, means nowt I know Can you tell me a better one odb?
  22. Best Chinese in the area by a mile in my opinion K-Hod. You'll enjoy it.
  23. The Burn - Facing the music
  24. Johnny Cash - A thing called love
  25. Rising Pune Supergiants bottom of the T20 league, a patterns emerging
