To be frank you threw out a few lines on Benson a few years back and the ‘know nowts ‘ seized on a new name to pick on. Benson has turned Pears into a decent keeper, was part of Rayas development and is given 100% credit by Kaminski himself for him playing in the Prem. He’s been a superb coach for this club. Admit it, You know nothing about recruitment other than walking the dog past the training ground a few times a day.

I've been watching football for many many years and the football today is nothing like I've ever seen before, if only for the possession side of things, its obviously much quicker too. Spot on Mike, those subs made a massive difference especially with our lot running on empty, we just ran out of steam. Really enjoyed the day, 10 of us made the effort, few beers and a curry in Darwen to finish off. Super effort from all concerned with the fans take over and I was proud of the lads despite the result, they all ran themselves into the ground, you can’t ask for more than that. Venkys Out!
